Hook me up with this store you speak of. I’m done with the Square Enix tax with no explanation why they charge more than standard DS games. I want to get Dragon Quest IV and Valkyrie Profile DS (whenever that’s coming).
40 bucks??? Hell naw. The only reason I brought FF4 at 40 bucks is because I love the game and because S-E actually put some work into it and rebuilt the shit. But I’m not paying that much for a fucking port of a 10+ year old game. Fuck that.
It’s like yesterday when I went to Circuit City and found a new copy of GBA FF6 for $30. I laughed at it and threw it back in the bargain bin. :mad:

Keep in mind that CT is supposed to have a redone translation too. They aren’t just taking the Woolsey script and cashing in.
That still doesn’t justify charging $40. Square Enix is doing it because they can (Until I know the real reason why they charge that much, I’m sticking with my story). The annoying part is, we buy their games at that price.
There will be plenty of other people who will buy this game because of the nostalgia, the probable value in the future, and the amount of people who have never played this game to begin with.
Not me though. There are other ways to get this game. YARR!

Yeah, mostly bids and all. When FM came out, I paid about 21-23 for it. I’ll send you his store site. Downside is that he’s in HK, so it’s pounds. Still, he’s quite quick.
Still, S-E are robbers with their half-assed revisions. The only thing that merits a purchase, at that price from them, is Space Invaders Extreme.
hmmm that was interesting to see. Quite awesome. I like how they were able to retain the HP numbers per hit display. I’m sure it’ll be a dumbed down version of PSO if anything. There’s no way that they’ll be able to throw in the Versus Mode, City, and some other parts, of PSO version 2, on the DS. Still, PS Zero could surpass all expectations at this point.

Winter 08 is the current release date for Japan. For those who don’t know anything about the game it’s a new installment in the PSO series, it’ll support 4 players over wifi, in-game chat with a pictochat style interface and possible voice chat. They stated they wanted to bring back a more PSO feel with the game. Also there will be 3 races and 14 jobs to choose from.
S-E knows damn well how much fans are drooling over CT it would be a INCREDIBLY dumb move to actually put it on VC and not try to make money off of it… AGAIN
I probably would pick it up as well. But if I was Crono CROSS? Man I’d pick that game up the day it came out! :woot: But thats wishful thinking. :wonder:
Anyone keeping up with Tales of Hearts? That game’s looking to be another great rpg for the ds. Hopefully Namco will bring it over.
