  • Square-Enix gives back, what they steal in S-E Tax, through the use of the brand new games they are putting out. GLORIOUS!

  • 20 hours of FFTA-2 and I’m still attempting to get a Yojimbo/Paladin class character combo. After being in a fight with the Yojimbo, I am not too keen on this class since the defensive power is low. Its’ offensive is good, with techniques.

  • I am now satisfied with the enemy AI. He actually uses camouflage and hide techniques.

…and Adelle is REALLY fucking broken. Heritor gives her great abilities, godlike stats and access to pretty much every god-tier weapon and armor in the game. Couple that with Parivir and it’s GGPO for everybody.

that’s the unit where Mirror Item(reverses items effect) + Item Lore(double item’s power) + X-Potion = 400 damage right? not to mention being able to to cause status effects with near 100% accuracy… I’d say it’s pretty broken…

I can name a couple of things that are cheap as all hell:

Parivir + Geomancy - It’s seriously broken. I’m talking 600+ HP a turn to anything in the game.

Summoner + Blood Price - Uses HP to summon instead of MP, blows shit up in groups.

Blood Price + Ultima Masher - …Yeah.

  • if Rangers can beat the old school Sniper/Assassin combo, then yeah. Still, Seeq Rangers are damn deadly if they have the attack strength of a high-powered Berserker to back up their Hunter abilities. But yeah, I’d have to admit, having the traps make him quite an awesome hassle. Or her, for that matter.

  • Still can’t get a Greia character at all… what season do they come out on?

Did ace Camoa though… which isn’t saying much. Pretty lame that I don’t have access to any Tinker weapons/skills.

And what’s up with the trials? I thought it’d kinda stack… instead of having both -x% for fees and something else, it’s either one or the other.

I have three. Adelle and Luso will be first. Looking to buy another one to complete a set.

  • I missed out on two seasons to build up my characters.

  • Trials… well, you can redo trials, so I’d whore out General Training II as best as I could. I actually did this. The Heroes trial can get you 99 in everything easily. If you’re looking to get more clan privillages, then you should do them all.

Yeah uhh… the stuff for trials is just privileges and reqs. to take quests only right.

Yeah, some quests need you to be at certain clan skill levels. For instance, when you’re starting out, some quests need you to have certain skills at 10. So, you’d have to do trials to get it at that certain place. After you get to 99, the only thing that should stop you from getting certain quests is your items. Even if you whore out the Clan Trials, you won’t get any AP for it.

Not sure if the trials help out on item purchases. I’d have to see if they get to 50% at all. 10000 is too much to pay for a sword. Something that S-E threw into this FFTA game: the higher dependency on money and skill. In FFTA: I didn’t have to worry about money. I can soup up my team and still come out smiling with a chunk of change. Yet here, every time I open my wallet to get a new sword, or lose some money in a fight because of some thief, I start selling.

  • btw gents… the “new” Chrono Trigger trailer is out. I’m sure you all haven’t seen it before. It’s like brand “new”. What I gathered was something about 13 years. Probably referring the anniversary of the game itself. Sure takes you back though.

  • EDIT: Trickster class…makes me laugh. You got Oswalds!
