I think that was a smart decision by Sony. US market is a different market and I don’t think VF4 Evo had enough changes to warrant throwing down 50 bucks on it.
I’m sure VF4 sold really well on the PS2 across all regions but I still think the game gets slept on here. It’s too easy with all the other flashy games out there (including Tekken). Especially if DOA4 can get sponsorship for big tourneys before VF5 (WCG etc.).
As far as VF5 Evo…I think it’s pretty much confirmed at this point that getting a 360 version of that game won’t be as simple as downloading a file onto your existing 360 VF5. All of the downloadable content was pretty much pre programmed into the game as a test so nothing else can or will be added to the game at this point. Which pretty much concludes that if VF5 Evo does get released it will more than likely be a standalone game that we have to purchase. I doubt it’ll be any different when it comes to the PS3. Unless Sega’s really got something cooking up we’ll have to pray for a disc release of VF5 Evo.
Are you sure that was a conscious decision? I remember reading that it was unintentional, but it was too late to fix the error. I can’t vouch for the validity either way though.
All im saying is though that Sega already said they arent releasing a patch for VF 5 on PS3. So for PS3 owners wouldnt it be more viable if they just released a updated version when they decide VF 5 has become a GH.
recovering your account on another box will NOT cause you to lose ur stuff on ur box, so long as you recover ur tag on your box. tested by me, several times.
It’s good to finally see a Karate user in the VF series. I always found it bizarre how the series, considering it’s strong focus on the styles, had no sign of a Karate style yet has 7 characters using Chinese styles.
Hey, umm…I don’t know if new players are supposed to introduce themselves, so just in case, I’m Lobelia Mk. IV, and I’m a Pai player from New Orleans. Is it true that I have to get a 360 if I want to play VF5?
