I would guess so. I still hear people talking about having problems playing certain games on Live. I think I’ll wait a couple more weeks before I decide to play this game online any ways. I’m loving the way it looks on my HDTV but would rather plug the 360 up downstairs where my router is to play online. Gonna try and see if I can get my friends to start playing this more often.
^Just got done with a session on CoD4, and live was running better than it has in the past two weeks. Here’s to hoping it continues as kids and people go back to school/work lol.
Jeez, now that I have started online play, I can see how much instruction in the game I need… sad. A better connection would probably help some.
PS3 version varies for $5 or 15 bucks at Target, for anyone who is thinking about buying the game. Just, good luck finding it. Hope that helps.
Man…VF5 is only 15 bucks now on the PS3? Hopefully that means VF5 Evo will eventually get a release in the US as well with a cheap price (like they did with VF4 Evo).

2)How is the lag and delay when you guys play VF5 online?
Please rate VF5 on how well it plays online,1-10.1-being a totally different game and isn’t worth getting if you plan on playing online only.10-Meaning it’s virtually no lag and delay.

Heh, speaking of getting scrubbed out by Pai and Lau, I get the same crap from Jackys. I too feel the “dieing” which I will dub: the Dieinging.
Still, the online is good so far, I don’t often notice too bad of lag. Moves and combos often feel more “sluggish” but not to the point of where I can’t pull them off. Slightly different but not so “free flowing” as offline (my connection possibly to blame). As many have complained about before, the lobby for finding games isn’t great and often is annoying. So maybe a 7 or 8 for the online experience.

I notice no differnce in offline and online play for me. I have Comcast high speed
there’s a difference, it’s just not too noticeable on a good connection, but its definitely still there.
i had a goof happen to me when I downloaded the DLC pack 3 last night, I downloaded and tried to boot up VF5 and it gave me a Disk Read Error like if it was scratched.
areboot remedied the problem.
so if you download a a DLC pack and try to boot up VF5 right away and it doesnt want to boot the game. Just reboot your 360 and try again, it worked for me.
