Hey Dream, if you want an input thats impossible on stick try blocking downback then jumping. Make sure you hold the down and back buttons while you hit jump. This does work in ae. Not sure how valuable it is but going from a db to jumping away immediately is kinda lol.
Well Martin’s had a lot of time to play lately so he’s gotten better, and doing well at that last tournament has just encouraged him even more it seems like. We should be coming up Tuesday for fight night and if I get the 28th off, then as well, hopefully bringing our friend JR, who is a beginner but is really enjoying sfxt.
As for not posting in the forums, I don’t know, I guess he’s just not the forum type. He lurks though.
I was actually messing with that yesterday to see if I can get Supers/Ultras that way but I know what you are saying, it is the same thing as using Analog/Digital simultaneous on a pad though. If anything I would say this takes the best features of pad and stick and combines them into one crazy device. I honestly think that if two weeks were spent with this it would be scary because the learning curve is much smaller as opposed to using a stick and just starting out.
He messaged me on XBL to play and asked me when I was going to be at the arcade…the real test is how well he adjusts if everyone is there on the 28th…that should be a very good test…I’ve seen players go from worst to first and back to worst again. 3rd to last, back to 5th, back to last…for a long time (and Chris and I had a talk about this) consistency is the key…
I mean, this should definitely be a wake up call and it’s happened before with games (CVS2 really comes to mind) where the top players in each area went off to play other games and the up and coming players never left the game, therefore they will take advantage of that as CVS2 had such a discrepancy over the years…you had guys that played it specifically after everyone else left the game and just mopped up people. AE is not like that but at the very least the guys playing KOF/SFXT/etc have to realize they have to concentrate on AE a bit to stay sharp at it, or what ends up happening in games make sure you use completely different characters as to not get confused with specific rule types, etc from game to game…

A SF xT film is in production. Cast revealed so far is Don Cheadle as “Raven”, John Goodman as “Megaman”, Channing Tatum as “Fei Long Smith”, and Gene Hackman as “Gem Lord”. Servbots have been confirmed. Reports say that they are a race of evil gremlin-esque creatures. Movie is slated for a Fall 2013 release.

Random question, did anyone get a chance to mess with the new UFC game that came out a couple of months ago? It was supposed to have a balanced multiplayer aspect and good CAF. Just wondering if anyone hand some hands-on experience with this game.

I can’t play those fucking MMA games man. So tedious and boring. My friends used to like them. The Supremacy one that came out a little while ago was supposed to be an “MMA fighting game”. But it was so severely trashed and a commercial failure. You can find it for like $9 now probably.
Very fine line when trying to maintain realism and fighting. That’s why you had the wrestling games where you had to mash a button to catch your breath after every suplex. Like it was a cool mechanic. So stupid.
