What I want to know is this: It seems as if Green Arrow will be someone who’s forming somewhat of a “Justice League Jr.” Now, I don’t know much about GA, but in the series JLU, isn’t he the one who’s reluctant to be part of the Justice League? Eh. If it means the return of Bart Allen, I welcome it. But if Aquaman comes back, please pick another actor.
Speaking of, the new Aquaman series “Mercy Reef” did not get picked up. The actor who plays Aquaman in the pilot that they shot for Mercy Reef will be playing Green Arrow.
i really wish CW would pick up aquaman and stop fucking around, i heard the pilot episode was pretty good… it was on itunes or some shit, anyone seen the episode?

it’s official, smallville premiers september 28th on the CW, mark your calenders! it’s said to be a “big episode”, let’s see how the big dumb alien gets out of this one.
green arrow is also gonna be in smallville for a while, on kryptonsite spoilers it said he could be in an arc for like 6-7 episodes, wow. those episodes better be good, i’d prefer if they got the flash back or something for that many episodes, the episode with flash in season 4 is one of my favorties. green arrow just doesn’t seem interesting enough but i guess we’ll see what happens.
wow i’m excited for the new smallville… this is probably the most anticipated episode yet, next to House. how the fuck is clark getting out of this one???
A while back when Paramount and CBS did their weird buy-out merger thing (not sure exactly what it was since both companies still exist.) UPN (which was a Paramount property) merged with the WB.
So that which was UPN is now the CW. and that which was the WB is now MyNetwork TV (or something similar). So presumably everywhere there was a UPN is now the CW and that’s where all the WB shows will be.
I’ve given up on Smallville for the mostpart. The key is to watch the season premiere, the middle of November for sweeps, the middle of February for sweeps (they’ll make sure to recap everything important between November and February anyway) and the last 3 episodes of the season. The rest is complete garbage (if seasons 3 - 5 are any indication) and not worth watching.
To answer some of the confusion on the CW, its a merging of UPN and WB, so it will replace different affiliates in different regions . For the most part, whatever is not becoming the CW is going to be “MyNetwork TV”, which only has 2 shows, shown at the same time every night.

Justice League! The previous junior superheroes that were in the past episodes will return to help Clark out. That’s Green Arrow (premiering this season), Flash (my favorite junior hero in smallville), Aquaman (boooo, worst actor ever), and Cyborg (Jett Jackson returns). This is my most anticipated episode. They should make this a spin off series with Clark doing cameos from time to time.
Catching up on Smallville since we got season 1-4 at my job on season 2 getting too the Reeves ep. So is season 3-5 worth going thru or not? I heard season 4 has some matrix like BS?
Personally, there is so much crap in Smallvile if you didn’t hop on originally I wouldn’t recommend it. Like others have said, the season openers and finales are the best episodes, usually no matter how crappy the season storylines get. And Lex’s storylines get REALLY crappy, Lana’s are like torture and make you wonder if the writers want people to hate her and Clark sure as hell ain’t no Pre-Crisis Superman nor is he a Superboy Prime.
Seriously don’t subject yourself to this show if you don’t got to.
i dunno about that, smallville all in all is a really kick ass show imo and it’s an interesting spin on the superman mythos and all… there were so much good arcs in season 4, that whole season was great to me. season 1-3 are very good as well, season 5 was the worst season imo cause it felt like so much filler. i highly recommend getting every season on dvd if you’re new to smallville, season 4 is a MUST watch.
season 6 seems like it’ll shape up to be pretty good since it might even be the last season… they say they want 7 seasons though and smallville is doing really well right now so maybe there is hope for one last season.
anyway, season 6 premier next week! woo!
question: which season do you guys think had the best season finale/season premier? season 5 premier was crazy good cause it had the birth of the FTOS and brainiac(james marsters does such a wonderful job as brainiac, every episode he was in was a good episode… hope to see more of him in s6) but the finale was seriously lacking, i think s6 premier will be some hot shit though, i’m trying not to spoil it for myself by reading the shit at kryptonsite.
