Ok, I do not regularly watch Smallville, but my sister was watching and I was like ‘WTF?!’

You know why? Tonight’s episode is a complete, COMPLETE rip-off of the Saw movies. Some dude called “Apex” capture’s Lex Luthor’s dad whatever his name is. And he puts him in these puzzles and if he can’t solve them he dies because the trap will burn him or something like that. The guy talks to him through a TV monitor mounted in the wall, his voice sounds exactly like Saw’s villain, and has the same exact personality. He wears a silver weird looking shit mask but you know it’s a complete rip-off.

So what, is this legal or what? How do they just completely rip-off a fairly well known movie for an hour TV show?

Also yes it was a complete SAW rip off, but hey it just shows the writers really do just put filler shit inbetween the season premires and season finales for the show.

That’s how it is with all of WB’s drama/sitcom garbage. They just rip off movies and other dramas/sitcoms.

Smallville has been terrible this whole season. 1 out of 5 episodes has anything to do with the main plot. This is Naruto level fillers.

this season did kinda suck, i dunno… i liked when they were in high school better, only about 4-5 episodes stood out from this season. the season finale should be nice though. cant wait.

last weeks episode was so tight, brainiac parts were too good.

When they were in high school the season’s plot flowed a lot better. Ever since he started hating Lex, Chloe faked her death and got trapped in the cave for a summer, the plots have been getting worse and worse.

Everyone but Chloe and Clark’s dad seemed to go out of their way to do dumb shit. And they are obviously desperate to figure ways to either shoe horn, all the characters with L into episode plots which is where a lot of the dumb shit is coming from.

Half the episodes in the seasons seem created to spoof or rip off popular films or just have a well known DC guest star. If there is another season, I wouldn’t doubt if the show became unwatchable.

Outside of the first episode, the episode with Jonathan’s death, the one with Cyborg, and the one last week, this season has been a complete waste of time. So with the finale (which will obviously rock) that’s 5 good episodes in… 22? 23? That’s fucking brutal.

I believe there are 8 seasons scheduled. Can you imagine what 6, 7, and 8 will be like at this pace? Apparently they need Jeph Loeb back really bad.

clark couldnt seal the deal and we knew they were setting this shit up since the day he bought the talon. its not like this was a left hook surprise. we saw this coming a mile away…really really slowly and annoyingly.

lex better be hitting that with the might of the gods. And why isn’t anyone fucking chloe? hottest chick on smallville.
