Be careful what you wish for.
If Shenmue III became an Xbone exclusive, that means Microsoft will be publishing it since Sega doesn’t want to do it. If MS get’s involved, that means they’re going to fund the project. Sure it sounds like a good idea, but MS will want total creative control over the project; their money, their decision (unless stated otherwise in the contract).
I don’t know about you, but Microsoft should keep their filthy dicks away from Shenmue III. Those shape-shifting lizards will probably get their focus-groups to shoehorn in a bunch of bullshit into the game. Open environments with a stationary path, shitty fighting mechanics, QTE’s to open doors and purchase capsule toys, etc etc.
I was banned for getting in a scuffle with some mods in the private messaging system.
The day you can get banned for being a troll in GD, is the day when you start seeing advertisements for Morton Salt and Gerber Baby Formula (hint hint).

Does anybody know when the 360’s will be getting a price drop? It’s almost 9 years old, yet they’re still charging $200 for the wimpy 4gb SKU.
You just missed out: Best Buy had them for $179 during a 1-day sale on Monday.

So I got my Xbone yesterday. Wondering if anyone can help me figure this system out.
Mainly in regards to the party system. How the effing fuck does it work? I was in a party with a few other dudes I met in Killer Instinct yesterday, and we were having the hardest time trying to connect to each other’s games. The problems ranged from not being able to invite each other at all, to the game telling me I was already in a lobby when I was simply trying to search for a player match. Didn’t make very much sense and I couldn’t even tell if it was a problem related to the system, the game, or maybe even both.
Most of the time, it just doesn’t work. The party system has been a huge clusterfuck since launch. Just consider yourself lucky that you weren’t a user during the bullshit period where they updated some users, causing you to not even be able to join each others’ games while not actually being in a party. 
I had a group going with 3 local friends, playing some PvZ Garden Warfare. The next day, two of us had updates available for our systems, so we did them. The other two didn’t, and couldn’t connect to our games (or the games of one another).
It really is an awful, awful experience. It should not be so difficult to complete basic tasks, especially when they nailed it last-gen.
That’s surprising considering how effortless and simple it was to enjoy a cross-game party chat on the 360, and even invite members of that party to your game. I figured they would have made retaining that sense of simplicity one of their priorities, but at least now I know it’s system related and not just me.
Hopefully they patch all that crap out in the near future. I’ve liked how the home menu and interface is set up a lot so far except for this one issue.
I only have problems with that in KI, party system has worked fine for me since they updated it, especially not having to turn on party chat after joining the party
Yeah and KI is the only game I’ve tried party chat with too, so maybe it is the game as well.
When was this update released? I haven’t played since like, two in the morning today.
The update happened a little while ago for the party system in general, had some annoying thing where you had to manually “turn on party chat” when you joined the party. Something about KI makes it crazy, works fine on Titanfall and everything else. Still getting the random “Game has found your party” pop ups if I bounce to other features on the dashboard(achievements, friends list) while playing TF, even if i’m not in a party at all

Titanfall Was Almost Destroyed By Lawsuits
The Final Hours of Titanfall is an e-book app that details the rocky development of the game. Of particular note was that at some point Respawn/EA had run out of funding, & needed additional support. In steps Microsoft to save the day, much like the Nintendo/Bayonetta 2 scenario. Wonder why EA/Respawn couldn’t have made this public to begin with; surely would have cast all parties involved in a much more positive light rather than getting the moneyhat label.
Word is that despite coming from The Doritos Pope, it’s a well-made app that gives some great insight into the games industry.
