They haven’t figured out the legalities with it yet I guess. It was only recently that they allowed you to buy Orchid and Sadira separately so it may be a while before we can top off stuff.
Those of you who have Crimson Dragon, which quite possibly may be none of you, heh… Are there some secret missions somewhere that have to be discovered, unlocked, etc? I’ve beaten the game on Classic difficulty and all my missions in the menu say 100% but somehow I haven’t unlocked the Act of Valor achievement, which looks like should come after simply completing Forest, Ancient Ruins and Lava Lake. I’m starting to wonder if it just glitched on me.
TItanfall MP Alpha footage. Dunno how long before this vid gets taken down.
Why can’t the whole game just take place inside Titans . That shit looked hype. 12 player cap doesn’t look like much of a hindrance. Between the one-on-one encounters indoors & the titans wrecking shit outside, looks to be fairly engaging most of the time.
Footage left a better first impression with me than I thought it would. Hard to say yet whether it’ll set the world on fire like MW1, but I could definitely see myself playing this with my COD friends. Looking forward to more MP footage showcasing other weapons.
EDIT: Holy shit, kenshiro.gif already. Will post a mirror when available.
technically, all titanfall footage right now is MP alpha. no single player. but they’ll still be trying to tell a story, or something. i dunno. games look busy because of all the bots, but i need to see something worthwhile now. it’s been ahuge pr battle with the no sp and 6 players per team cap. i really hope its good.
Personally, I can’t blame those that are doubting MS’ viability in Japan. Console just doesn’t have a stellar history there. I can’t see anything short of a megaton like exclusive next-gen Monster Hunter or Gundam something moving substantial units.
I guess it depends on how big of an effect this has. Long as Konami and other big companies will support MS ill make do. I’m going to get a PS4 also so that will cover any smaller Japanese studios that ill miss on Xbox.
Xbox had their best launch ever more or less without Japan so I dobut they’re pressed.
I thought Microsoft covered some ground with the 360. The console didn’t sell much in Japan (still more than the Wii U currently, lolz), but we had all kinds of anime-ish RPGs and fighters show up on the platform. They broke through and are not just for the FPS/sports gamer audience anymore.
But they really need to put in that effort if they want to solidify an audience over there.
Honestly, it might not even be worth it… considering a much larger and hungrier market in China is about to open up.
