It was a funny gif, if it happened for x1 or anything else im sure they would still think its funny.
Maybe 3x as many active users because more people on SRK seemingly bought a PS4, but… the ratio is definitely no larger over there.
The thread that gets me the most with its fanboyism is the WiiU one. It’s like the same 6 people cycling who is going to reassure the “team” that Wonderful101 is a legitimately good game, and that they spent $400 to play it is totally justified. 
A guy on Reddit claims Games With Gold is coming to the X1 in March. First title will likely be Ryse.

Not really all that skeptical about it because March seems to be when Microsoft wants to really take off with the console thanks to a big system update, Titanfall, and possibly Twitch broadcasting all coming by then.
If does end up being true though, I’ll guess I’ll hold off on playing Ryse until then.
They just need to come out with the Antonio Banderas game if he’s that big of a deal already.
I heard Ryse was pretty underwhelming so if they’re doing some discount or free version of Ryse online eventually, I guess I’ll check it out just to say I played it. Only other game I would really like to play before Titanfall is Dead Rising 3 and…I won’t die if I don’t play that. Still waiting for Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive. Both look very promising.
I guess I should go back to playing some Crimson Dragon also. That was pretty fun.

They have been on the 360 for several months now. Game choices were a bit of a letdown compared to PS+ IMO but still, free games.
Hopefully they come out with some free games I’ll actually want to play. Most of the free stuff I’ve seen is stuff I wouldn’t be playing any way. Give me Quantum Break for free.

Seriously? If this becomes a trend, maybe the WiiU will find an audience in America as the official next-gen console of people with bandwidth caps & shit Internet.
If you’re going to buy a 500 dollar future system, definitely wanna make sure you got dat future internet.
Plus Xbox is known to have slower downloading times than PS4 (not sure why) so you won’t have a really fast download regardless.

I’m looking to get a next generation console soon. It looks like it will be an X1 cause they’re more available than PS4s. Now my question to you guys with them are: Is it worth it?
13GB update on top of the game needing a huge, forced install like PS4 games, right?
Users with default Hard Drives and capped internet are gonna feel the sting like you say. It doesn’t seem to be any different on Sony’s side, either(I’m sure one of their games is going to get a huge update comparable to this one.)

Compare how active this thread is compared to the PlayStation threads not only at this forum, but on others, and then read up on how people feel about their consoles/watch videos and come to your own conclusion.
The 13 gb is not additional. Overall, it only adds 2 gb to the actual game data. The other 11 gb replaces parts of the installed game.
This seems to be the one thing a lot of folks are missing.

i don’t really pick sides in this, as i own both, but there is one thing i absolutely hate about xbox and xbox systems.
god damn power brick. seriously. hate. this. shit.
in my downstairs office, i need the system to sit above the TV because along the wall the TV is against needs to be walked by. so i installed a shelf above with the idea of strapping the system down. but goddamn. the system is so big. fucking ridiculous. the shelf needs to be a solid foot deep and a some change to accompany the system size plus cord clearance… fine, i guess.
but you cannot hide that power brick unless you want a full 1.5/2 foot deep shelf. so it sits on the side. then i want a 360 up there with it. another fucking power brick. so now, not only do i have to adjust for depth, i now have to adjust for how wide the shelf is to make sure these fucking power bricks have space. instead of this nice compact hub for games, i gotta spread this shit apart from each other like they are prison rivals and it looks ugly as fuck.
power bricks can suck a dick. i don’t play my one or my ps4 very much, and it sucks to have the one basically make the whole setup look shitty.
