I really got sold on The Division and the game’s exclusive Smartglass integration on X1. That and Sunset Overdrive is what I’m really looking forward to.
Favorite part of the mall tonight was teenage dance teams playing Kinect Just Dance 2014 (Xbox One) in front of the Microsoft store. That game looks tight when it’s played by a group. We need competitive dance games at Evo. :bluu:
Day One editions have started showing back up in the wild (failed scalping I guess). I think i’m gonna try and find one Thursday.

Sunset Overdrive is the only game on the Xbox One that interests me other than Dead Rising 3. I’m a fan of the developers(Insomniac) and hope that the game might hit other platforms one day. 
$2k laptop, but that was out of necessity.
i’ll take $10, regardless. i’m doing okay, but i’m not “throw away money” rich.
$10 less off two games, that’s $20 towards a play and charge kit or something. Still useful.
Yeah, I’m really looking forward to new SO screens and videos in the coming months. Reminds me of Jet Set Radio, except with guns and parkour.
Catching up on some hardware articles involving the X1:
“900p-720p will be the norm”… not sure how I feel about that. but I’m really not a graphics/res whore. Took me awhile to realize games on 360 were upscaled because they looked good to me regardless. Obviously this will stay an issue, considering even 1080p on PS4 is taxing (BF4 is 900p). After seeing how Ryse looked, I’m okay with 900p and decent frame rates. I know down the line 1080p will become a little more common as devs gain experience using the ESRAM effectively.
I think another issue is the X1’s upscaler.

lol, paying full price for a game, suckers. you guys are whats wrong in the videogames business. i still haven’t payed a dime over 40 bucks for any of my ps3 games. shit, aint no game worth more than 40 bucks anyway.
The only games I’m willing to wait on sale are the WWE games. Those truly arent worth $60. Obviously if some other game I want is on sale when it first comes out, fine, great. I also waited for the last Saints Row, since I knew it was going to be bad.
Other than that, I need my shit day one. If that means $60 then so be it. Some games you might miss the hype if you dont have it day one. What I mean is online; lots of games have an online thats tacked on, if you dont have it week one, you’ll probably never get to play it online.
Also you wont get everything you could out of gaming by being a cheap bastard.
