@Gren Oh, cool. I appreciate the link. I technically got mine delivered to a US address, and it’s registered to a US address as well, so hopefully I’m covered and I can actually give another game besides Killer Instinct a fair try. I’ll definitely look into it - thanks!
Not salty. All it means is that I save another $60 everytime EA decides that Need for Speed should be Burnout Paradise with licensed cars. Fuck Split/Second, and fuck Blur too.
Loaded up that video and watched 5 seconds of that annoying piece of shit and knew in an instant it was that team spooky footage.
It isn’t the DRM shit microsoft said they were going to do when the system first launched. People really do believe whatever anyone says on the internet without doing any research.
Tell me, what happens when you go to a friends house download your gamertag onto their xbox, download a game YOU own and he doesn’t, and start playing, but then go offline with that account? The game stops working. You need to be logged into Xbox Live for it to work on another system that your account is not linked to.
Which is exactly what happened here. They got ahold of an Xbox one, a local player logged into his account to download the full ver. of KI that he owns at home on his own Xbox, and when the local wireless wifi or 3G internet or whatever connection signal dropped, the xbox went offline and the game was locked. Just like its always been for 360 for years and years.
People really need to inform themselves before going online and acting like a complete fool.
Amazon has damn near every Xbox One game on sale for $49.99 right now (except for Black Flag). Genuinely feel bad for folks that paid full price just a month ago.
