Is anyone willing to help out a fellow down on his luck? Looking for a Green Lantern ready to print artwork for my TE fightstick 8 buttons. gonna use green buttons and white bezzle/balltop. If anyone is willing to help that would be awesome.
would anyone bother to do a cute asuka kazama for the madcatz se stick, would greatly appreciate it
Hey everyone! I’m in the process of making my first stick mod (Mad Catz WWE Brawl Stick) so I wanted to get a cool design. Someone already gave me a hand and came up with this; it looks great and everything but my only issue is that it is not a psd file and it’s only 96 dpi :S
Just in case, here are the original files I gave the guy who made this: template, image 1, image 2.
Can someone help me do it? For the last 2 weeks I’ve been struggling with photoshop but didn’t get anywhere. :S Any help would be appreciated!
Stick Art Request Thread is in Image Mish Mash section of SRK Forums… please send your requests there as they will hardly be answered here…
Guys could someone tell me exactly what i need to do once i have a picture i like and the pdf template to make sure the sizes etc are correct?
What i mean is i was sent a pdf template by bancao (arcadeforge). So i dragged that into photoshop and it came up with some document size bounding box page thing i just clicked okay on it should i be changing stuff?
Then once i had done that i just used a fill to fill in the buttons and the turbo area so that i could see them and then dragged the artwork i wanted onto the page and it came up wtih the same weird placer thing with the lines through the diagonals. I just clicked okay again and it ‘looks’ like its all right, but says its at 50% when picture and buttons look massive? Also the measurements for the document are 35.27cm and 22.67cm which sounds too big to me? There is also a big white space around the picture which i assumed was for cutting out etc but really thought i had better ask
Thats how it came out (borrowed someones artwork from start of this thread is that allowed? :|). Just not sure if i did this right is all. If its right, i am in the UK so we dont have this kinkos place. What exactly am i asking for when printing it aka material? Its to go behind a plexi that i ordered on top of a metal plate. Also should i take the psd to the shop or convert it to something else?
Sorry for all the questions guys am just excited to do my own mod lol
Templates are generally the size that you need them to be. If the artwork fits the template, you’re done.
The 50% thing is the size that it appears on your screen. It is zoomed in to half of it’s actual size. Press CTRL+1 and it will zoom out to 100%. Yes, your artwork will be huge and it will throw you off. If it will make it easier for you to compare, go and change the measurement scale to Inches. If what you see on the screen matches the stick specifications, you’re good. If it doesn’t, you’ll know what to do.
I would ask permission before using someone else’s artwork.
@d3v posted somewhere exactly what you need to ask for.
And congrats on your first mod
Here’s my wip:

I’m still cleaning up some of the edges of the .ai file, but this is pretty much what I’m going for. I was wondering if I could get some opinions though. First, I obviously like a clean minimalistic style, but I was wondering what you all would think of me adding some of Skullgirl’s iconic film strips in the background? I would just do two of them intersecting. Do you think it will make it better? Or is it okay as it is, and adding anything else would make it cluttered?
Second, I just left the buttons and the joystick colors as their defaults, because it was already what I pretty much had in mind. However, I thought of making the eight buttons white with a black surround. Does that sound aesthetically good to you? Should I leave the last two buttons with different colors?
Anyways, any feedback is appreciated, thanks!
What are peoples thoughts on the clear buttons from sanwa instead of the normal ones? OSBC i believe. The lens cap being removable…does that make it feel weird when mashing the buttons etc?

Here’s some stick art I did for my buddies Injustice Battle edition stick.
Can anyone help a newbie?
Is there a version of this artwork (or anything close) on file for a MadCatz SE stick? (Preferably with PS3 buttons labeled?)
THANKS IN ADVANCE

No. VMS made that specifically for his EL lit stick.
I’d just like to be pointed in the right direction, Im new on the site and It’s nearly 5 am where I’m at. I ordered a stick which im getting today, I also ordered the replacement Sanwa Parts for it as well. The only thing I can’t do is the artwork… My computer runs Linux Ubuntu which is a problem cause I can’t find Adobe Photoshop for Ubuntu. My other problem is that I am just TERRIBLE at artwork. If anybody can point me to someone or a thread I can write in so that I can speak to someone who can help me out and hook me up with some artwork. I already have an idea of what I want to do, Im not sure what you guys charge for this if you do, but I would be willing to talk $ if I have to. I need to get Triple H and The Rock off my stick A.S.A.P. LOL. Thanks a lot, and forgive me in advance if this is in the wrong thread.
Further Info…
I ordered a WWE Brawl Stick for XBox 360. I also ordered a Sanwa Joystick JLF-TP-8YT (with a Dark Grey Ball Top)
I still need to buy the buttons, but I want to make sure they will match with the art, atleast with the joystick I can change the balltop.
Again, Thank you in Advance.

Of course, you can simply move the labels around to whatever suits you (unless it’s a dick 8-button config).
Download here.
I cannot find a Qanba Q4 6-button art template. The actual 6-button template, not the 8 with two buttons erased. Can anyone help me with this? It’s driving me crazy!
Last I checked, the 6 button template for the Q4 was the 8-button one with the last two buttons taken out.
The six-button Q4 sticks actually have their entire layout moved about 18mm to the right. This is why if you buy a six-button plexi from Qanba you also have to buy a six-button metal plate from them.
