The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

Been thinking about doing this for some time now.

Since people were using the old TE/SE art thread for stuff other than MadCatz sticks and the threads for the other sticks were just about ignored. Here’s a new thread to cover art for all sticks (MadCatz, Hori, Namco, Sega, custom, etc.)

If possible, please upload your pics to the SRK Sticks Imageboard (http://srksticks.booru.org/) Instructions will be listed below.

Rules
-NO IMAGE QUOTING. Copy the image’s URL and paste it. The forum should automatically recognize it as a link when you click on “Post.” Failure to do so will result in an infraction.

-Please do not post full 300dpi images on the forums. This slows down the thread for everyone. Anyone who does so will receive an infraction. Resize your images to around 1024 pixels in width.

Guidlines for Uploading to the SRK Sticks Imageboard

The ff. are guidelines for uploading to the SRK Sticks imageboard.

Create an account at http://srksticks.booru.org/
In the Posts page, click on Add (near the bottom of the page).
Under Source, be sure to add the link to either the printer friendly version of the file (300dpi PSD or PDF) or your post in this thread.
Tags are separated by spaces, use "” for tags with multiple words (e.g. “srk_sticks”)
Check if your tags are similar to other existing tags, if they are, then use the existing ones.
Make sure to tag the artists involved
Rate your image honestly

BTW if any of you play MK with the old style layout you might want to pick up the combat stick. I think you’ll be surprised at how much easier it is to use.

Hello, folks…

Got a nice HORI stick that I want to mod to hell and back (add new MC Cthulhu PCB, dual mod it, new buttons/stick) but I also want to change the art.

I want to go with something simple, tho. Lemme know what you guys think.

Hello, I just finished moding my TE so I felt like sharing with everyone.^^

I like how Juri’s silly horns haircut is hidden by the turbo layout.
I couldn’t decide between a Juri template or a Sakura one so I just went ahead and used both with a basic straight line separating the 2. If you look from very close, you can see that Sakura is a little blurry compared to the rest of the template but it’s hardly noticeable.

i like that DR.Doom one. Be good to see it with the middle image as is centered and then to the left so his eyes are not covered, with a clean background. Maybe he is charging energy or something.

that’s not Dr. Doom, lol, that’s MF Doom, he’s a rapper…same thing happened to me the first time it was requested. Started working on a Dr. Doom template and then found out that i was using the wrong character…

Yeah, I thought from the beginning the MK logos kinda take away from the art. I was just curious on what others thought. Thanks, I appreciate the input.

Really nice work. I never thought of doing commission stick art for others, seems like a good idea.
