I like the first one. Ink strokes / spatters can be nice looking, but in your second pic they just break up the clean outlines of the elements.

Also how do you make it so that the bleed edges cuts off the artwork if extended over it?
I think you might’ve pasted your stuff over the “bleed edge” layer. That’s the only explanation I can come up with, since my Photoshop-Fu is weak.
That said, it looks pretty good. I’m gonna lay off the squid jokes, though.
No, thats not it. I’ve tried to move the layer with the bleed area top to bottom with no results.

Not really sure what you’re asking about, are you saying you want the art to disappear once it hits the red?
If that’s what you’re looking for, that layer is just a red line, nothing more, so you’re going to have to find the layer the bleed line is on and just fill the outside with a color, probably white. Make sure the bleed is on top so it covers the art.

When starting a design, I always start my workflow by first duplicating the Template layer and filling in the holes with the paint bucket as well as using magic wand to select the outer bleed area and paintbucket the selection on the same template copy.
KBrad broke the top panel plexi (and art) of his stick which means we needed to reprint the art again. Took the time to make a few minor, near imperceptible adjustments to it.

Try 2. Neon Blue is darker, added bars below to see if I can get any more goddamn retro, new logo, switched shitty classification with weird credits/answering machine combo. Issue is that it is WAY too bright for what I had in mind, but eh, could work…
