Hello, i am looking to put a toad themed art on a qanba q4. I would like this picture on the left by the joystick http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110106081654/mario/de/images/1/19/Toad.jpg and then this one on the right under/ around all the buttons http://omgeeily.yolasite.com/resources/toad_wallpaper.jpg I have no skills on Photoshop or programs like that and would even be willing to pay someone to do this art, just would like them on a white backround if someone could do this i would greatly appreciate it!

Regarding TE-S sticks, is the process the same as in the tutorial thread for TE art modding? 6 screws, detach everything, peel off and lay back on / plexi etc?
Anyone have opinion on LED options for buttons or panels?
also can someone recommend a good octo sanwa gate with possible instructions?

yes it’s the same exact method for replacing art on a TE-S as a TE. The only difference is there’s no bezel

Lizardlick carries sanwa octo gates and you can find tons of videos in a 2 second search on youtube regarding replacing a gate on a TE stick which is simple as pie
Lizardlick is out of Sanwa gates atm but if you just google “Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate” you’ll find a bunch of places selling them.

My first attempt at a skin what do you think?
- While a purple stick is okay, I think it’s too purple. I really don’t know what to suggest other than looking at other colours, at least as accent colours.
- I don’t know if you made the background, but if you did, use less Filter->Render->Clouds. And by less I mean don’t use it. If you didn’t make the background, I would recommend a different background just because I don’t think that’s visually appealing, but if you like it then keep it I guess.
- Center the button labels over the buttons, and keep a consistent spacing away from the buttons.
- Visually the Bipsons on the bottom don’t really work. If you want a Bipson stick, make one, but this Dragonball x Street Fighter look doesn’t make sense to me.
- I’m not a huge fan of the text effect for “Gohan661”

Since this is my 2099’th post, I figured I’d put up a template inspired by Marvel’s 2099 line. Problem is, there’s really no usable art aside from Spider-Man 2099, and even that is a bit slim if you don’t want a cgi image. Used neoblood’s blazblue template with d3v’s border. Should I darken the logo or put some kind of filter over it? It seems too bright.

Wait, just figured it out! If you can add webbing to the corners, coming off the white borders to the edge of the stick, kinda like how it is between the “Spider” and “Man”, that’d be pretty cool.
I’ve still got the entire run of X-Men 2099 comics. I can scan, any character you want in particular (Skullfire was always cool, and Lalunatica).
That Bison sprite really doesn’t go at all. The Gohan661 doesn’t fit, and I’d drop the button lables entirely.
I think I know what you’re trying to do with the background: Is it from the Japanese beginning of series 3, just before the shot fades out to teen Gohan as Great Sayaman? It really doesn’t work though, sorry dude. You should do the dark storm clouds, or change tack and give Gohan his Super Sayajin aura.
You’d also end up with a lot more of Gohan if you flopped him to the otherside - nice big space to the left of the joystick. You lose a lot of him from the buttons on the right. Although the guide/ turbo block might negate this, it’d be worth seeing.
