The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

I quite like the Ibuki one.
Personally I’d lose the SSFIV logo, but then I’m not a fan of logos on art. I would also rescale or move her face in the BG, purely for the fact that you’re gonna lose a chunk of her face from the button layout. Maybe try pulling her to the right and up a little, just to avoid having a button sticking out of her mouth as much as possible.
Hand and outline look better now, but there’s still an outline on her inside left leg (I wasn’t looking too closely, honestly  ). She may also need a touch of a colour overlay to blend her in slightly.
Looking good though dude.

Also have just noticed there’s a couple of chunks of drop shadow missing from the right side of the SSFIV logo.

Done with this

yea edit the designs on photoshop, i did also post the template on here a while back and i just wanted to show people how it looks on my stick now

change that font or do something with it. It just looks like you stuck it on there

hi pretty new here, in fact just signed up…after lurking for years…lol anyway just wanted to share my latest artwork. did this for my cousin and his eightarc fusion.

looks great, i really like the background

I took your advice, it looks better now

thanks, didn’t even notice the shadow, i moved ibuki aswell, you were right, i did a mockup and her face was well covered so i moved it, im not sure how to do a color overlay correctly in that the bottom of the picture of ibuki with her hair down better blends with the background, its a shade darker and i can’t fix it, i tried using the color overlay in blending options and it changes the part of the face that i don’t want to fix, my photoshop skills arn’t amazing, can any of you point me in the right direction of how to do it?

Hey guys,

I just finished browsing the forums and I hope I didn’t overlook a specific thread that discusses what I am about to ask. I got my stick art finished and it’s ready to print, but I hear stories about Kinkos not printing due to copyright issues. I’m really looking forward to putting the design I made on my fightstick, but I’m unsure whether this copyright issue might prove problematic. To break it down, if Kinkos requires me to get a copyright release form, how do I go about this with Capcom?

Also, if any of you had this experience and found a solution, your suggestions would be truly appreciated!

PS: I’d like to add that the template I made my design on is for the MadCatz SFIV SE fightstick.

Hmm. An easy way would be to create a new layer, paint bucket fill it with your colour then really lower the opacity of the layer. Then get a large, soft edged, 10% or less opacity eraser and erase parts of the layer. There are other ways, but this way is simple and yields a good result.

That BG looks absolutely amazing, dude.
Why do I recognise the girl?

she’s taeyeon member of girls generation (snsd) a kpop girl group

It is complete, I’ll put it on once the jokers at capcom finally send me my stick! Thanks for the advice guys

How did you get your art to come out like that, is it some kind of render

Damn it, you guys are going to make me buy a damn eightarc!

Here’s some more, This one I made for myself for my Qanba Q4

I’m guessing you’re asking, How I did all the effects? with the exception of the girl which was a scan, and a few brushes (some tech line type brushes), I created everything else from scratch in photoshop. Hope that answers your question.

awesome examples lately! I was hoping to get some art too…

First of all, here is the template: http://www.d3vlicious.com/storage/files/qanba_q4/Q4_by_d3v.7z

In the foreground I would like: https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/i…cE-e8LifRQD8CVWQzYq4HHgerDolK-Sx817GzLV-JyadU

Also in the foreground I would like the name otter (all lower case) in a sort of comic book bubbly kind of way, and a few five pointed stars. I assume photoshop has standard art like that.

For the backround: I would like this image spanning the entire template https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/i…6NRxtlNfrDrBVPyArOYOdx_gcBWcI3Nx-MjHNAk9v_45b

Both of those links will result in Captain America & Hitler looking like NES renders due to how tiny they are. The pixelation will be absurd.

That makes me sad. I don’t know where to find high quality stuff. Thanks anyway.

not to mention that hitler’s head is so badly copy and pasted on LOL
