I always feel bad about our fights at the mall because everyone starts using non-top tier teams and I don’t want to break the flow by picking CSC and shit like that. I guess it’s just that not many people take MvC2 competitively anymore and it’s hard for me to pick a serious team when people are just picking Dhalsim and Jill and whatnot D:

3s is easy in that it’s not heavy on having to learn a lot of 15 second combos but difficult in learning matchups, character specifics, kara’s and what not.

I think we’d rather have 3rd strike again with you in town than play sf4 without you. Jason was just kicking the idea around, but I don’t think anything’s been decided yet. If your showing up depends on what we play, we’ll probably just do whatever you want. Don’t feel like you have to show up if you’re having second thoughts though. If I make it out, I’ll play you at some hnk.
That’s sillyness man. Sometimes we play low teir just to mix it up, or to bait TK into playing with us when we get bored. Todd is actually at his best using low/mid characters.
ALWAYS play at your best! If I get beat I’ll usually end up with storm/cable/commando or cable/sent/cyclops.

Don’t listen to those people. We play so many casuals and rarely have we ever competed against each other that some ego’s were bound to be bruised.
There are enough people who will play 3rd that you won’t be left out of the loop. But again, if you’re second guessing/don’t wanna make the trip you don’t have to. I was looking forward to testing my Dudley and Elena against you though. Thinking I might enter 3rd at ThemvsUs…but I still need a lot of work. Again. Still. /Whatever.

Obviously Jo, Jason and I will be up for games if you decide to come down. I could definitely go 10+ hours playing at this point…I almost did yesterday :wasted:.
Regardless, April 5-12 is my Spring Break, and I’ve got the house to myself. I’d like to plan a day where everyone who can possibily make it comes out and plays, or at least drops in for a few hours to get some games. You can crash if you’d like as well, the upstairs is off limits as far as sleeping arrangements go though, but I’ve got a ton of blankets, and 3 couches, plus a soft floor :lol:. Hopefully I can get Cincy/Indy to come, and anyone else that’d like to stop by. I recommend bringing TV’s as well, I only have 2 downstairs.
So get at me with a general consensus of when I should throw this, I’m aiming for the weekend, but if a weekday works, that’s fine too.
What about April 3rd or 4th for a get together?
The 'rents aren’t gone till the 5th I believe, so as of now that wouldn’t work.
