The original Mr. Vampire is an essential film that needs to be watched that is all!
oh Bangcock Knockouts is available for instant streaming in Netflix, we watched last Friday in my Street Fighter gathering, people got hyped…I was thinking busting out another kung fu film…Which decade should i go with this time? I was thinking Return of 5 Deadly Venoms a.k.a Mortal Kombat a.k.a. Crippled Avengers or should i got with something more recent…
Lol I second that. I thought sorcerer and white snake was okay. 6-7/10 at best though. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen that story 2038280 times, but what ever.
Dragon Tiger Gate is on Netflix instant, Stars Donnie Yen in a vital role.
The choreography is respectable but everything else about it is pretty ridiculous … hahaha right down to the crazy dubbing
Yeah, too much lame romance angles. Not enough actual fighting. And the ending was really anticlimatic. More of a kungfu flick for women if you ask me.
Reign of Assassins is the shit though, liked it better than Wuxia.
Painted Faces is that flick that were Sammo plays the role of their teacher in the Peking Opera.
Oh ok i remember watching that a long time ago…Maybe 20 or so years ago…The one i had was a really a crappy dub VHS tape, how is the quality on this? This is a drama though right?
BTW do you have Young Bruce Lee? Im not sure if i want to watch this, trailer looks decent though…

Yeah the only other Bruce Lee film i know of is Bruce Lee Dragon Story starring Jason Scott Lee, that was about his life in america…Coming from his american friends & white wife…Lot of it was made up to make the movie more entertaining, love the movie by the way…
Young Bruce Lee is about his years growing up from Hong Kong…I was only able to watch 72minutes, haha i have to wait to finish watching the movie cuz i dont have a premium account…Anyway, this pretty much a coming age film being told by his brother & sister…Not sure exactly what is true or made up but so far so good…Thanks for the link angelpalm
Yeah he was great in it, haven’t seen him in a long ass time…Even Christy Chung was the mother, i remember her in Bodyguard from Beijing & Love on Delivery(my fav Stephen Chow film) she has come on long way…Actors were believable…

I’m sort of a fanatic. It’s my opinion that anything made past 1990 is irrelevant (at least most of anything past 1990). I like the Jet Li’s and all the contemporary stars, but they all got their swag from Shaw Brothers and the like. That’s my 2 cents. Happy watching
Starting from 1:36 to 1:58? That sure doesn’t look like Vincent Zhao to me though. The movie starting at 2:00 is definitely Once Upon a Time in China 5, Vincent Zhao fighting the pirate dude.
Different generations I guess? I grew up watching Jet Li, and Chow Yun Fat, and Jackie Chan. Donnie Yen didn’t really come up until just a bit later he’s part of the group.
