Well, I’m trying to get into XI…but damn man, finding shit out on your own is pretty hard. Anyway, I was looking for some Ash and Duo Lon stuff to try out. But anyways, thanks for the change list PC.
I’m sure DG has some good Duolon stuff archived, or check out DG’s XI vids on how he is played effectively. Don’t know bout Ash, he’s pretty straight forward, but you’ll need experience to develop a solid Ash, and I don’t have or know of any valuable footage for him.
EDIT: @DG (if he’s reading) Do you remember a looooong time ago when you had some footage of this really good Ozzy/Kyo/Ash(L) player? Do you still have those matches? I wanna research multiple Ozzys b4 I make him my official anchor, and I remember that guy was beast with Ozzy in 1st.
Well, the reason is that many of the changes plain suck and make no sense. It also doesn’t help that Athena’s stage lags like a motherfucker. It makes the game overall less fun.

I can’t remember if Athena’s stage lags in the JPN release. I thought there were still anywhere juggles in in arrange mode, but if not then that’s one change I’m really happy with, ESPECIALLY considering all non-grapple LDMs were anywhere juggles in the arcade. Anti-air st.A to LDM is straight up bullshit.
I also approve of higher damage Buster Wolf and Break Spiral 
I don’t think it does but I do know the NA ver does lags hell even when you face off with magaki at times you get lag or slight pauses
Check Kane9999 if you already haven’t which I figure you have already, his Oswald is monstrous in case you haven’t noticed lol. Him and Rodo’s Kyo are also monstrous as well…I’ve seen Ash players in D.F. on youtube but very few that use him as Leader for tournaments. All of us can play with Ash Leader in casuals.
Let me check that vid out lol. Yeah Kane9999 is a monster, one month of him and Rodo playing has put me back in the #3 slot in CD. Juarez, Mexico unfortunately. But whatever, what can I do but keep training and not let them keep getting better than me by continuing to get back there and show them whats up! I will become #1 in Cd. Juarez!!! I’m not far at all…still top 3 clearly as everyone can see.
I’m just getting settled from my trip to CD. Juarez, Mexico this weekend, and now hoping you can enjoy some pretty sexy KOFXI battles as we had not only casuals, but our own Ciudad Juarez, Mexico KOFXI Playoffs and Super Bowl to determine the top 6 players in the month of May 2009.

Yeah it seems right now that January 2010 is gonna be the definitive date for the El Paso tournament. Let me remind you all Kane9999 and Rodo have permits to pass to El Paso no problem, along with whoever else we get , so see now things should be VERY CLEAR why El Paso is quite the choice shouldn’t it?
Yes I am still having the Houston Qualifiers in September 2nd/3rd as preparation for the January 2010 El Paso Raging Storm Major.
Also guys we redid the KOFXI US Tier List based off the Ciudad Juarez, Mexico May 2009 Playoffs in the 2k2UM thread, it looks like this:

Also, I don’t believe Ash does enough damage in order to qualify for A-tier.
Also, Malin, even Leader Malin, has too many problems with Anti-Air and defense in general to qualify as A-tier.
Also, if these are based off Mexican playoffs then doesn’t that make them Mexican tiers, not US tiers???

they are not US but many treat them as such… and that’s typical for any fighter in general

Mexican playoffs but remember I (an American) was in that particular playoff system no?? *I ranked top three in that particular system *so I am combining what we know about KOFXI from our own system, the Mexican system, and the Japanese system.
Also I forgot to add Clark and Maxima to the A Tier List. :looney: I’ll put them in there. Ash I’m iffy on, I think he could be B or A- depending, for now I’ve moved him to B. Malin as Leader has Cr.C as Anti Air and her Hammer Leader is good enough as an Anti Air trust me, don’t believe it play against Rodos! His wasn’t that effective this time around because we all adjusted to it very well but vs. many of you you will all see what I am talking about when you play vs. his Malin Leader! On top of this as counterhit it can do almost 70% damage as an anti air or on the ground.
This is the truth…just like many take the Japanese Tier list as gold anywhere else and that’s what they go based off, when it should be the combination of not only others tiers but peoples own experiences AND TRAVELLING. The more you travel the more different styles you see and you see how everything is not as clear cut as the Japanese Tier lists would lead you to believe.
We just can’t be Japanese copycats anymore guys, straight up that hurts us as a country, we are always a couple of steps behind because we are followers not leaders, we need to stop this ASAP.

Something has been bugging me. With that Kula reset…when I do the jab, sometimes they’ll flip out and Foxy will just breeze by. That and the damage…it scaled for a bit…whats up with that?
You are talking about with the Leader right? It has to be timed correctly. The jab is the one you see the Juarenzes use mostly…but practice it with St.C (one hit) xxLDM if you can for more damage…just know that the jab works everywhere and in the corner…I personally use st.jab and st.b also (longer reach) and you can hh jump attack, land then do the LDM for flash.
I have been experimenting with Kula leader also depending.

That’s the one…right now I’m watching vids of oswald players to see whats up with his jab reset. But out of the two, which one is better suited for leader? Kula or Oswald?
The drawback with Oswald Leader is Judgment…it doesnt sway on your side until it actually finishes…so keep that in mind…its good if you are an expert with Oswald…but if not Kula is the easier more reliable choice. It’s almost like comparing Duo Lon Leader to Gato Leader…almost but not quite hahah.
