Maybe, but it still doesn’t make any sense to call it the “US tierlist”.
In most KOFs, the Koreans, the Chinese, and the Japanese all have their own tierlists. This is regardless of the fact that many top Chinese players have come to SBO and won in games like 98, 2002, 2003, etc. and despite the Koreans beating the Japanese in the Japan Vs. Korea KOF 2001 event. Korea, China, and Japan all have their own styles, and tierlists always reflect a certain area.
That’s why I still think Mexican and US tiers should be separate.
The problem with relying on her leader for AA is that you won’t always have meter. Not to mention that Malin is TERRIBLE at building meter for herself since of course they toned down both the meter building and recover of her drill claws after KOF 2003. She has to rely on landing her BnB to gain any kind of meter is definitely risky against someone like Leader Oswald or Kula.
As for her cr.C, it has decent priority but terrible range. I’m not convinced that it can deter hyperhops. Yeah, her standing A is okay for stopping HH rushdown but the risk-reward is totally against Malin and I wouldn’t want to risk a standing A versus a Gato HH D or Kula jumping C.
I see what you’re saying about the US Tier List, though bottom line is that tiers change over time and its due to different playstyles that tiers change so IMO there really is no set tier list to a point because in different countries people have exploited the characters in different ways.
Also about Malin Leader Duo Lon Leader doesn’t have a good anti air either, hes gotta go air to air a lot just like Malin Leader with c, e and other untensils.

question about how to unlock the two bosses of Buriki 1 and Kizuna Encounter, The Faqs pages say we should all finish them all off with an LDM but even when I put it all unlimited DM’s in the setting it all shows Sho as the Match 4 mid boss I can’t get the two bosses to show up, these are the only two i have not unlocked so any tips??
Which is better to play on: Arcade or Arrange?
^ I’ve been meaning to ask about that for awhile. What’s the general consensus on the arcade and arranged versions? Which does everybody prefer more? All I’ve ever noticed is Duck King’s lack of Real Bout style chain combos in arranged mode.
Arcade is pretty much the version played. I kno they tweaked a ton of things in Arrange mode,especially as far as timing goes. Don’t think people really delved into it, but I could be wrong.
Most FAQs are wrong. You can’t finish ANY FIGHT with an LDM…I believe you do have to use at least 2 LDMs total in the 1st 3 fights, though (not sure if the Activation LDMs like Ash or Shen count even if you don’t “hit” with them).
You also need to finish at least 6 opponents with regular DMs (and still not lose a single character once) within the first 3 fights. I’ve heard separate requirements…some say if you do 6-7 you get one certain boss and if you do 8-9 you get another. Then again, I’ve also heard that you just have to get 6-9 DM KOs and the boss is chosen at random between Silber/Jyazu.
To be safe, don’t do any LDM finishes at all because if you do 1-2 you get Gai and you do all 3 for the 1st 3 fights you will Hayate for sure.

I never play XI very well,i cant find chars that i like… in other KOFs i use ralf,clark,joe,athena… but in this one i dont really like Ralf…when i play against the cpu i use athena,ralf,terry…but i dont like ralf here (and in 2k3)…i thought to switch him with Clark but dont like him either…

that’s really good to hear this game is actually still played on tourny level… i still play this from time to time on my ps2… i would play it non-stop until july 28th if there was atleast 1 person who i could play this game against besides the stupid cpu… but sadly no kof fans in toronto… hopefully kofxii will change that…
anyways i use clark as my leader as he has always been my main since kof’97… and i really like ralf cause of cr.C xx unblock… but i don’t really have a solid 3rd character… i usually switch between griffin, benimaru or maxima… but don’t really like any of them… too bad goro isn’t in this version… anyways DG or anyone can tell me who’s a matching character to clark and ralf? mind u i’m not willing to change clark as the leader…

I hear you on that. I’m a big Athena user but on XI she just doesn’t feel the same and I have to work extra harder to get things done. I’ve been playing around with both Ash and Clark, but I still need work. I really suck with the tag system and linking the combos together. I might have to change up my characters again.
I am thinking the same thing. Especially after EVO. Hopefully I get my shit together and get something done.
