I still need to finish Season 1. I only have two eps to go, but I don’t want to watch anything heavy when I get home :joy:

Locke and Key behind the scenes…

I finally got back to watching another episode of ā€œThe Toys that Made Usā€ā€¦it was one about the Power Rangers. They covered quite a bit more than just the action figures here…it was an interesting overview of everything from the beginning. I didn’t know that Stan Lee (and his boss at the time; forgot her name at the moment) was actually shopping this idea around earlier, before Haim Saban got to it! They both saw the huge potential goldmine here, but various network suits all turned it down. Saban would go on to see the same potential but also hit an uphill battle just getting anyone to say yes to this show.

haha, it was funny that they mentioned the downfall every power ranger fan remembers— TURBO. Ratings and popularity went straight down the toilet thanks to that horseshit  The ā€œIn Spaceā€ era later managed to save the franchise, of course.

Million ,did you see the Transformers,GIJOE and TMNT episodes?

Still need to watch the GI JOE episode. While the TF ep was cool, I didn’t learn anything new.

+1 The Ozarks. Stellar cast; it’s a train wreck that just doesn’t stop. Bates is amazing in that series.

I have high hopes on Locke&Key; it better be as fucked up as the comics.

The Last Thing He Wanted trailer…

Gentified trailer…

That’s basically what I had said a little earlier in the thread. There’s another article floating around the internet that corroborates the structure of netflix contracts and netflix’s quick pull-out game.

People really need to ask why before agreeing to things.

The anime adaptation has had trouble on multiple occasions of matching the manga, why do they think a live action series is going to even do that much?

Unless they are doing a side story deal without a lot of devil fruit users I can’t see this ending well. G-Savior (live action Gundam movie basically made in Canada) here we go again.
