Got to 28 Ranked wins in a row before I got beat by someone who clearly played a ton of MvC2 and was using Magneto fairly masterfully. Not sure how to work the match yet since I’m new to Marvel.
Man all the stuff you say in here makes me think you are reading my mind or something lol. Hulk usually rapes other peoples teams single handily b/c of them not knowing about super armor.
My deadpool cant do anything either. Quick Work hasn’t been working 
I have been using Magneto a lot lately though and his assist really helps against zoners because of the fast startup. It combos with gamma wave.
hey guys the second combo that trag does hulk crush how do you time the gama charge to combo after the first two hits…i either do it to easly and i get like 3 hits out of it or to late for it to combo…any suggestions?
I’m thinking all Hulk users are running into this problem, because I know I sure have. The only thing I can recommend is having a good projectile assist and timing your Gamma Waves, since once it comes out, it can’t be stopped. Hopefully, you can dash in with your assist to get closer, so you can land the Heavy Smash.
Hey, I have a question. What would be Hulk’s best in air move to do while jumping in on an opponent? or even air to air?

Can anyone post/point/link Hulk’s best BnB’s? I’m really enjoying him, but my combos need work. Also, is it possible to reliably combo into Gamma Crush mid-screen?

Man I’m ssssoooooooooo far behind you guys when it comes to Hulk developments. My Hulk is so scrubby right now. All I been doing is fishing for standing :h: into launcher, and then his basic air series (followed by gamma tsunami). I haven’t even scratched the surface on his combo potential yet. I’ve yet to even use a gamma charge in his combos. :lol:

Does this actually work? No matter what timing I try, I can’t get it to connect. They fall away from me and the upward hit of GC misses.

When are you canceling to Crush? After the first hit of the “ONE MORE!” follow-up?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it. It’s the juggle state that the st.M puts them in that does it. Seems there are easier ways, though. Simple j.S or s.H into H Gamma Charge does it.
I’d like to tell everyone in here not to get too comfortable pressing C and hoping to get somebody pressing a button. That will work for a little bit and then when it stops you’re gonna get demolished if you keep trying to do that. You have to work on hulk as a whole!
sure sure, you’ll have lvl 3 x factor hulk and will take out their point and assist with H and a couple other moves, but without the complete package hulk will deteriorate into nothing soon!
just because it works doesn’t mean stop being creative. and yes I’m reading the thread, most of you are coming up with some niiiicccceee stuff, but it seemed like it’d be worth sharing as it’s easy to “do what works for now” and not progress for most people. I got hulk on my team too - cap/hulk/arthur <3
I didn’t explain more of it in my last post, but standing C is very good for a few reasons:

It gets people to stop recklessly attacking you. If you can get someone to hesitate then you can take advantage of that by throwing them or using some other offensive option.

You can call an assist to lockdown the opponent and keep it completely safe on block. There are LOTS of assists that can fill this role.
Also Hulk is retardedly fun. I literally have him on every one of my teams…although I only play 3 different teams right now. :lol:
Hey guys. I don’t know if this has been answered or not. But Since you can kara his Command grab, if you use one of his super armor normals, does the grab get take the first hit while it goes into the grab? Just wondering.
I’m new to the forums and fighters like this in general so i hope i dont sound to newbish. But how do u kara throw? I can’t seem to figure it out and how fast do u have to put in the input to get it?
I found a side specific “glitch.” Actually it’s more of an generic input technique but it’s glitchy in that it only works on one side due to the weird way the game processes dashes. But it’s definitely useful.
Only works on P2 side. Charge back, neutral + LM for dash, upforward + ATK will get you a jump cancelled gamma wave from a forward dash. Usefull if after a combo you end up in that annoying range where gamma tsunami does crap for dmg, and gamma wave xx gamma crush doesn’t work.
It doesn’t work on P1 side because for some reason even if you let the stick go to neutral you will still dash back. Don’t ask me why.
Manually doing charge back, ff, up forward + ATK didn’t work for me so it seems this is only possible on P2 side.

If you kara cancel from M (which to me seems the one that gives you the moves range) that’s definitely possible. Armor starts from frame 3 on M and it seems you can cancel the move later than just 3 frames in animation.
yeah standing c is awesome - i wasn’t saying don’t use it and use it often - i was just saying dont forget to actually develop your game. a lot of players online you can literally just standing c s bbc s gamma tsunami over and over and you win the day.
Hulk is such a fun character to use. I am running him on point, and I have Tasky second and Trish third. My BnBs are on point; however, coming from SF4, I am having trouble utilizing assists in my game plan. Could anyone offer advice for using assists with these characters? I know the basics, such as being able to hit an attack and assist button at the same time or being able to piano them, but when? Also, I’ve seen people extend combos that aren’t OTG, like Dante’s Jam Session, how is this possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
