Ive gone on 3 different 10+ win streaks today with Hulk as pointman, and only stopped when I left the room…im so glad hes good, since I love me some hulk IRL, my fave marvel hero.
Is hulks anti air command grab actually reliable against forced tag ins? I’ve been using it to good effect but I dunno how reliable it’ll actually be. Digging the fat free damage from the tag in - especially on Phoenix with xfc available lol
God, I’m loving Hulk lately. The simple idea of being able to punish an attack by just hitting :h:, and then being able to follow it up with :qcb::atk::atk: for big damage is just brilliant. I’m finding Doom (rocks) and Sentinel (Sent. Force Charge) work brilliantly with Hulk, since they can turn into a keepaway team when needed. Then, the second option of Ryu (Hadouken) and whomever else I feel like just makes Hulk a joy to play.
It doesn’t hurt at all that he reminds me of T. Hawk, so I can take to him pretty well.
Anyways, question for you guys. What have you found is the best way for Hulk to deal with teleport-happy people? I was getting completely bodied by a Wesker earlier, to the point where I felt completely helpless.
A basic “only works while it works” strategy is to wait for them to teleport THEN h through the following mixups. It’ll get them scared to mix you up and the may go straight into keep away OR multi hit assist (like Arthur) just before teleporting so youget hit by 2 attacks rendering h useless
You know what’s scary? It’s your last character. You beat the rest of someone’s team but Hulk is the last one left. He has X Factor waiting, the life lead, and a bar of super…And you have a melee character.
LOLOLOL!! Now you have to approach him knowing that one these things may happen:
You’ll get hit in the face while trying to hit him thanks to super armor and killed with some X Factor combo.
You hit him while he’s blocking and he does X Factor guard cancel to Gamma Crush.
You try to turtle and punish but get command grabbed into X Factor Tsunami.
So i know first you guys are probably going to be like “YOU SHOULDNT DO THAT!” but… when jumping in with Hulk what attack do you use the most. i’ve probably NEVER jumped in with hulk attacking someone in the air and got the hit. Any suggestions?
Don’t know if someone posted this yet, but if you catch someones assist with a H gamma wave keep doing that shit. You can combo them OTG until death. Caught someones Sent in ranked with it and that made me lol. 13-0 in ranked:cool: Long live Hulk!
No it’s not reliable because it will only grab a forced tag in if the opponent attacks while coming in. If the opponent blocks then the grab will whiff.
What do you guys use off of :h: hit? I’m just doing :s:, j.:h::s: or if I have meter sometimes :s:xx Gamma crush for the damage and DHC. I also use :h: as a hit confirm sometimes and XFC c.:h::s: into either of the above if I feel that one of the opponents characters needs to die.

I got a few questions concerning the rejump Combos. Its hard to Get Timing down after s.L,s.M,Gamma Charge (AA) L, follow M, Jump, j.L, j.M, j.S… Especially the Jump,j.L Timing.
Any Tips? When do i need superjump?
The other thing, I Found out it is possible to chain j.L,j.L,s.L,c.M together. It was said Hulk cannot chain Light attacks together, at least jumping is possible
I whooped SO Many Sentinels online tonight Charles Xavier should make Hulk an Honorary X-Men. Even had one ragequit on me after Hulk reduced it to scrap metal. And that brings me to a question.
Does anyone know if Hulk’s air :s: has good crossover capabilities? I’ve tried it a few times against Sentinel with success, but I’m thinking it’s just because of his huge hitbox. Can anyone tell me for sure?
It’s an excellent cross up for every character, it was Gargooletz that let us know about that pre-release.
Anyway, I figured out how to combo into Gamma Crush midscreen with M.O.D.O.K.'s Psionic Blaster assist:
:l:, xx :f::d::df:+:h: > :h:, :l:+:a1:, xx :d::df::f:+:h: xx :d::db:+:atk::atk:
I haven’t tested this too much, but it seems like if you omit the :l: follow up to Gamma Charge, you can combo into Gamma Crush midscreen on everyone. Psionic Blaster pulls your opponent deeper “inside” Hulk during his Gamma Charge, basically giving you corner properties anywhere. I’ll play around with this more tomorrow. It does between 700 000 - 715 000, don’t know why it varies.
