This sounds fucking awesome. Street Fighter 5’s OST should’ve been a rock/metal album. The melodies have so much more power this way and they better match the main menu theme song.
I guess I used a strong word. You are right if is relaxing and fits the stage. I just want something more amped up this time around.

Eh, I was kind of disappointed with the music for the game. It’s not bad, per se, just not as good, personally, as I’d hoped. Only Mika’s and Chun’s tracks are good. =/
I don’t think metal suits every theme. This is one example of that. It does sound look, but it just not the same. Same with Necalli’s theme you posted earlier. The orchestral theme makes it so much more epic.
By the way, does anybody else think some of the themes should be swapped round-wise? Like I’d prefer the Shadaloo Base r.2 to be r.1 and vice versa, the current R1 version just packs so much energy
And I think Capcom needs to tweak when the Danger theme starts playing, right now it’s triggered at like 30% so the stage themes don’t have enough time to even properly start

I’m a sucker for prog so among SFV themes, Alex is top tier. Hopefully his gameplay is on par with it.
Not sure why the extended mix’es and Eventhubs articles are using the average/below-average quality rips of his theme.
The original is still a lot better I feel, but that remix isn’t that bad.
