Not at all. Visually and sonically, SF3 was and continues to be the most consistently flawless mainline Street Fighter game. No one can take that away from it.
Fun fact: if you put tekken music over street fighter gameplay, shit fits pretty well actually
The music is ok so far, Main Theme and Kanzuki Estate stand out for me. Character themes are good too from what we heard so far, that leaves us with the other stage music that goes from average to bad and I can’t tell about Brasil and Metro City. It doesn’t “suck” globaly.

Say what you will about SF3:3s, but the people who made it put their heart and soul into it and you can see that in the visuals and sound from a mile away.
character select theme was the only hiphop song in that game, the intro was literally fucking disco.
3rd Strike’s OST was amazing. Only surpassed by 2nd Impact, in my opinion.

I don’t particularly like the music but it’s not a major issue for me.
If anything it would be nice if capcom took a similar approach to what smash bros does by bring music from previous SF games and letting you select certain tracks on certain stages, or even go one step further with what tekken tag 2 did and just let you put ur own music on stages

Honestly have no idea. Pretty sure my very first post in this thread was asking if I should make a thread to discuss the songs we enjoy so far. Ah well. It’s nice that I’m not alone in loving the main menu theme.

To me, that sounds more like some Pokemon music than Street Fighter. That’s not bad but I’m not the biggest fan of it.
Because it’s subjective, though, it shouldn’t have to change for the ones that do like it (myself for example).
On the other hand, it should have to change for the ones that don’t like it (yourself for example).
I think that’s what Junbiro means.
I like this theme but there is a second part that is missing. This only plays on the 1st round.
