Man it was a good night of fights. So at the bar some random guy challenges me to put $20 on the main event. I was a little hesitant and told him that if BJ Penn wins, I’m down(My picks were disappointing at this point). Next thing you know BJ is the winner. So I ended up putting $20 on Rampage. Luckily, the guy had honour and payed up.
I’m still trying to figure out what happened to Lauzon. He just gased in a way I have never seen him before.

One of the worst decisions in mma history we all know it, the few people like max who say otherwise are either in denail (a very immature coping mechanism) or are blind this fight was not debatable it was clear who won each round as fact. Round 1 nothing happened Rampage landed 2 small glancing jabs so he won it by a little bit, round 2 same thing except machida got a take down and 1 huge blow that completely overrides the 2 or 3 tiny hits Rampage got so round 2 to machida by a little bit. Round 3 Machida destroyed Rampage by a wide mile, even after the fight Rampage’s body language showed he clearly knew he lost, he was not only genuinely surprised as can be when the decision came but he also admitted Lyoto should have won and not in a bullshit sportsmanship way.
Lyoto simply won it’s not up for debate however, Rampage fans want to keep lying to themselves then that’s up to them lol. I was watching the fight at Applebees and nearly every single person around the bar called bullshit and yelled in disgust and disbelief including the Rampage supporters:rofl:

First time I’ve ever cheered for BJ Penn lol, didn’t even break a sweat.
The way I saw it Rampage had the edge on both round 1 and 2. Second and third Machida looked slow, it wasn’t until round 3 Machida suddenly explode into action, he didn’t do much on the ground but that short burst of action was enough to win round 3. To me Rampage controlled the entire pace of the fight even though he wasn’t effective.
I really like both fighters, I wouldn’t have complained if it was a draw, but Machida definitely didn’t deserve the win.
lol machida got a takedown in round 2? nigga must not even have been watching the fight. rampage dumped machida on his ass and tagged him a couple of times, the only thing even remotely offensive machida did that round was land a knee…that was immediately answered by an uppercut.
i had it 2-0 page going into round 3. i could see you having it 1-0 if you marked the first a draw, but the last round wasn’t 10-8 by a long shot.

I had it 2-0 'Page after the second round as well (and I hate Rampage, alot) - though I did say that that little fall at the end could make people give the 2nd round to Machida. Apparently only one judge fell for it, while a lot more fans did.
