Time to start up SRKMMAFFL Fall Season. That is…The Shoryuken.com-mixed-martial-art-fantasy-fight-league.
Real easy. The Thursday before a big MMA event you come in and post who you think is going to win. Choose the winner, the round and the method and you get points.
Correct winner= 3 Points
Correct round= 1 Point
Correct method=1 Point
So even if you suck at picking winners you can still do really well by getting lucky with the round and method, and even if you are nostradamus you can lose easily if all you do is pick the winner and nothing else.
Also from time to time there are bonus points for other things like guessing KO of the night, etc.
At the end of the fall season (around Christmas time) the guy with the most points wins. Easy right? You can post picks however you like, but the only way you can register for this “game” if you haven’t already is by quoting this post and typing “I’m in!” Than I add you to the list. It costs nothing to play, and nothing to leave so you might as well join in.
Oh, by the way, everyone who participated in the summer event starts off (I’m doing this for a reason) with 3 points automatic.

OSU! Kyokushin karateka until the day I die. I took a long time off, but now I’m back to training full time. I’m 22 now, and with graduation coming up (B.S. Biology: Biotech concentration) I’m not getting any younger so I wanna compete as much as I possibly can now before grad school. OSU!
I know. In my defense though, I was so sloppy because I was dead tired. Although, that is no excuse. I guess I could possibly do sprints and then start sparring with emphasis on making sure I am not sloppy at all?
Do you have any suggestions, or drills for keeping good form/technique with fatigue?
Anymore critique/suggestions/training ides, are very much appreciated.
