Not really. When Serra bulldozed GSP I didn’t think at Serra>GSP after that fight. I think Mir is better than Carwin but his mentality of getting bigger = winning going into that fight was completely stupid. Brock is debatable, i think he is a matchup nightmare for Mir but I will take Mir to put on a better fight agains Cain, JDS, and Reem.
EDIT: In my original post about Mir being top 5 I should have said I personally believe he is top 5 and not state is as fact. I see what I did wrong there. Basically the point I wanted to get across is people think Mir is shitty when its far from the truth.

Cain isn’t unbeatable. FFS Kongo dropped him. JDS is the only Heavyweight that has looked unstoppable to me so far (and I fully expect him to beat Cain). Mir cold get Reem to the ground and work him hard and make him gas after 1 which Reem is susceptible to. I think Mir could take Barnett and Cromier as well.
Look im not saying he would beat them, but it would be more competitive than Brock, who when gets hit waltzes around the octagon like a drunken gypsy.

I think Mir is a pretty easy top-10 candidate (even as a Mir hater), but top 5 is definitely a stretch, IMO.
