If by “fucked in some way he’s not capable of fighting” you mean being a burnout with no idea how the real world works, then maybe. But I don’t think you mean that at all. Nobody is giving Nick the benefit of the doubt here, because his previous actions don’t warrant us doing so. Whether or not he was scared of GSP is just speculation, but him showing no sense of responsibility or even a hint of an idea of how a professional is supposed to act is not open for debate. Take away his fighting skills and he’s nothing but a common thug.

I’m loving the hate I get from just stating facts that NBK is more proven against wrestlers and is a better wrestler himself than Diaz and still get hate when I have facts that others in the topic almost have no choice but to bring up.
You don’t have to like or respect me personally but you will learn to respect my MMA knowledge. I love this sport and I hate Nog/Mir 2 as its an easy ass win for Mir. Nog is no threat to him on the ground ( Mir is bigger, faster, Bjj specialist as well) but it doesn’t do anything but feed Nog’s ego and make me angry at Dana ( or whoever responsible) for not being creative and giving new match ups in the Hw div.
Oh well I should just be happy Brock Reem is happening but Hw NEEDS new blood at the top I’m starved at that division.
Give it some time. The sport is still growing and the heavyweight division in any combat sport will have this problem. In America, if you aren’t a wrestler most athletic big dudes will gravitate toward basketball/football. In Japan, they’d be doing sumo or pro wrestling. It’s no mystery why top heavies are either American wrestlers/grapplers, Brazilian BJJ dudes, or some random Euro. When paydays get bigger you’d start seeing more beef gravitate toward MMA rather than team sports.

People won’t admit how good Mir actually is. Basically its just due to the fact that a lot of people don’t like Mir which I have no idea why. Probably just due to the fact he was cocky against Lesnar and Lesnar’s fanboys drool over him. I was so pissed when he lost to Carwin but it was his whole damn fault. The whole “Im just going to get REALLY big lifting weights and then I should beat him” gameplan was terrible.
Mir looks to be getting even bigger now too. Against Roy that due was huge and yoked. I wish he would fight more because he is one of my fav. heavyweights.

You DO realize you’re on the internet, right? If you come in here being combative, you’re gonna get gifs and shenanigans thrown at you no matter what you’re saying. You can’t just be like “I’m puttin them facts down, suck it douchenuggets!” and expect us to show you any respect, even if you came in here with all factual information.
The general population is full of people who either forgive, conveniently ignore or even embrace cocky professional athletes, so long as they’re winning. So saying NOBODY likes people like that, well maybe a lot of people don’t THINK they like people like that. But they should take a closer look in the mirror, most times.
For me, as long as you’re putting forth a good face in public, that’s all I ask. I know Derek Jeter is an arrogant prick behind the scenes, he’s gotta be. But publicly, he’s done everything right and played 100% his whole career. That’s all I ask out of my athletes, do your best and be a good example for the kids when you’re in front of cameras. You can get up in the club and womanize and drink and be a douchebag all you want after that, I really don’t care.
Then again, I thoroughly enjoy Chael Sonnen’s pro wrestling schtick. So go figure, lol.
