Maeda did extremely well vs Torres. Sure, Gomi, Akiyama, and Uno have struggled recently. But it’s because they have a shit load of wear and tear on them. Everyone looks small compared to Gleison Juicebow. Gomi has struggled since forever. He was living off of his KO power. Uno is flat out old. All the training he’s done it doesn’t matter. He’s still a good fighter. Aoki again has beaten everyone to come his way who is a wrestler outside of Melendez. Kawajiri loses to Melendez and he’s worth nothing now. It makes ZERO sense. The cage isn’t the end all be all in MMA. It’s just what you prefer. Yes, some fighters have struggles with adapting. But the Zenko’s of the world just lost confidence. He wasn’t too small or anything. The man just lost his confidence. Kinda like some other fighters. I can use a lot of shit against a lot of fighters too. Joe Rogan has been a foul-mouthed comedian for infinitely longer than he has been a commentator for mixed martial arts.
