Well obivously some fighters have good striking. Homminick has been around ontarios kickboxing circut for years. But for the most part it’s pretty bad…and even the best guys ie GSP can be shit sometimes. Obivously the eye injury had an effect, but he was scared of going to the ground with shields so he didn’t open up at all. Barely any kicks and he only threw one twos. That’s the problem with mma striking…it might not be the person skill level. it’s they don’t want to open up with more than two punches and risk getting taken down.
which is another reason they should change the way they judge fight. Like seriously would you risk throwing one hook if it meant the guy was going to get 3 take downs on you and win the fight?
it doesn’t really make you sweat. just warms up your muscles like tiger balm or A-535. The fucking massage you get with it before the fight hurts more than the fight some times.

He went 5 rounds easily in his fight vs. Faber. Also there are confirmations that he was sick and taking antibiotics days before the fight, so he wasn’t in his best condition. We’ll see how he looks in his next fight…also fuck rankings, lol.
