hello, i’m collecting kara throw data for all of AE 2012’s characters, i don’t know how much of the information here is outdated, so i wanted to ask: what’s el fuerte’s best kara throw?
all of the data will be compiled into a list including normal throw ranges, added ranges and kara throw ranges.
I think fuerte kara throw is a myth
its not a myth it just the distance it moves you forward is not even noticeable.
i’ve said this before in other characters’ threads: it doesn’t matter if it’s not noticeable, it just has to be existant. i’m making a comprehensive list.
the point of a kara throw is to increase your throw range so if it doesnt do that or barely to a point where your better off not risking getting forward mk then it doesnt matter.

At the end of the day, Vega has the best kara throw
ken. vega’s kara is 2.9. ken’s is 4.5. evil ryu’s (from cr. mk) is 3.5.
^ Walkspeed isn’t factored into account. Vega might not have a kara throw half as good as Ken in theory… But his walkspeed makes up for it in practice.
I couldn’t say which of the three has the best because you still need to factor setups into account as well, although I think it would be between Vega and Ken respectively despite E.Ryu’s range being better than Vega’s.
