Just gotta get that rsf down and you’ll get recognized.
rsf is a pain to link online with the lag and what not just havent got my timing for the fierce punch xxx hab dash, lp and then that last fierce online in lag is horrible for me i also dont play on a flatscreen tv but my tv is 30 inches its pretty good for gaming but i need a flatscreen.
I don’t bother with rsf online. I stick to my poke and runaway game. I’d rather not have lag interfere with a timing I just finally achieved.
it’s all about timing
I havent seen my avatar ever since the site update. Thanks for rockin it, Alely
RSF isnt that much harder to do online than it is in training mode or other offline play. You just input the rythm that is carved in to your muscle memory. With a link like the RSF you dont have time to react on what happens on the screen, you just input. When the loop is running, lag just aint the (big) problem, the input speed or rythm doesnt change when you started the RSF. Imo hitting the first fierce is where lag really is a bitch.
I wonder if there is a chance to update the match ups now that AE and the patch will be out soon. So many things have changed since the time it was written.
Considering ae2012 right around the corner we might as well wait
I dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but the Tortilla LK Corner Reset works on Fei Long in AE. I can provide video if needed
EDIT: also works on Oni and Evil Ryu and Abel
EDIT 2: cant seem to hit it on Dhalsim
After playing around in training mode… lk reset also works on Yun, Guy, and Ibuki. Kind of stricter timing on Ibuki.
Damn RSF is hard any tips guys?
If its too fast and I don’t jab cancel I get hit run :hp: spin tortilla grab super awesome attack but if its too slow the fierces don’t connect. I’ve plinked hasn’t helped.

Lol any advice.
Don’t worry about it combing in training mode. Just work on the muscle memory. Then slowly speed up the reps until they start to combo. Once you can get three to four reps you’ll need to delay the stop as long as you can(need to run as deep in as you can) so reps four, five, six, seven, etc become easier.
Warning the timing on the later reps does get more strict.
lol thank you and did you actually play a first to 500? Damn.
Yes.

I noticed you don’t have much for the aerials in terms of use. Here’s what I’ve got.
Your best attacks for jump-ins are Salsa Chop (j.MP), Taco Knee (j.MK), Sopapilla Butt (j.HK), and whatever we named j.HP, but all have different uses.
The first three hit at different angles with Salsa Chop having the highest angle, and best reach, Taco Knee having the lowest angle and second best reach, and Sopapilla Butt having the middle with worst reach, but can crossup in the corner. Also, Sopapilla Butt can go into RSF, but an extremely deep Taco Knee can go into RSF as well. These are best used for offensive purposes.
Your j.LK and j.LP attacks are used for defensive purposes. You should use j.LP when someone is right above you and it may stuff some aerials as well. j.LK is for face-to-face in the aerial. Use it with right spacing and you can stop air grabbers, namely Guile
