or if you can do run stop pressure, you can just stand near him on wake up and cr.mk > run > etc. if he likes to focus alot den just medium kick tortilla till he changes his escape. once hes in the corner alot of his options are shut down. you can really just walk forward and do standing medium punch > run > repeat. if he jumps you can ultra him. he doesnt really have any good escapes. upball/horizontal. on hit in corner = ultra.

But don’t rush a Blanka down recklessly. If you rush him down with unsafe timing for Tortillas, Tostadas, etc. you get fucked up by random bullshit. Also don’t forget to use slide, I almost forget that the move is there when I play against Blanka and I can’t figure out why. But try and take the match very slowly and play very very carefully because if you get knocked down you can get trapped into some stupid shenanigans of his
just kidding :U It’s risky but you can mash U2 during the blockstring of st. HP xx feint cr. HP xx EX Seismo. I found out when I got bodied by the same Viper Zac did. I also think (I haven’t tried it) that you can probably OS U2 from j. HP if Viper does an EX seismo, needs testing to see if she can SJ out of it.

cuz i remember when ppl said Fuerte was ass in vanilla…and now everybody says hes 1 of the best…so we actually took alot of time 2 learn this character and be good with him…and i think we all deserve it =)
On an actual matchup note, does anyone have any advice against bison? I play with a really good one, and at times the matchup just seems hopeless because he pokes me like crazy with mk/hk, getting me in the corner with lk scissors over and over is too safe, and psycho punisher totally shuts down any wakeup game once he has it. Really, I expect to lose this match every time I play it.

corpse-hop is your best friend if the dictator is using regular or ex-psychocrusher on his wakeup.
if you keep that in mind youll see that his other wakeup-options arent that good
keep the pressure, bait out ex-headstomp or ex-devilsreverse so he cant get away from your okizeme.
all you can do about psycho-punisher is to bait it, really. but remember that he has almost no recovery! i always go for a airgrab, seems the safest option to me.
use OS run against his teleport from time to time. its deadly in combination with fuertes ambigious j.hp crossup
be patient when being locked down with SK’s. do not play too much footsies with him, his st.hk and st.mk are to superior imo.
Against Bison corner pressure stay calm, block pokes, tech throws and look for an opportunity to EX run out of there or absorb scissor kicks/pokes and punish. After a blocked scissor kick he’ll probably either do c.mk xx scissors or poke with mk/hk so be expecting that. Don’t jump, his HK and j.mp are too good. Air throw may beat out j.mp but it’s quite a risk. If he’s poking you with mk/hk, EX guacing out of the corner will probably result in you eating either a throw another mk/hk once landing. Try not to throw out any normals as most of his will stuff yours for free.
If he has psycho punisher don’t be too afraid to do stuff on his wake-up. Point blank slide is pretty safe, along with shower kick. Also, neutral jumping on his wake up is pretty good, if he does PP then you can air throw it, if he does reversal on wake up it will go under you, if he does nothing you can come down with a HP/HK into pressure. I tend to do point blank slides after a corpse hop (killing his charge) and point blank shower kick if I don’t corpse hop (this will go through EX psycho crusher and EX scissor kicks).
In general, most Bison’s are aggressive but can’t get in very quickly so try to keep at least half a screen spacing and then just react to what he does, get the knock down, kill his charge as much as possible and go balls out on his wake up when he has no bar.
Edit: aerosoljunkie beat me to most of it…another side note to add, far HK will stuff his dash attempts and his slide if he’s trying to get in that way. It will hit the slide with the second hit as an overhead most of the time, link into c.mk and go from there. This can be done on reaction pretty easily.
Also. If he’s really anxious to ultra two you whiff close mp or mk on his wakeup. Buffer your ultra. If he goes for it, the star of death will shine for him, or at least he’ll get turned upside down and derped onto the floor via airthrow.
