This is the one with the bald JCVD as the villian, who fights Adkins at the end dressed in clown make-up. If youāve seen it, you wonāt forget it lol. Adkins also fights Dolph Lundgren to the death too.
And the flashback strobe-light heavy scenesā¦ what the hell were they thinking?!
Actually, i could say the same for the whole fucking movie.
Knowing that Adkins auditioned for Batman in Batman vs Superman makes me happy that he actually is going for bigger roles.

Yeah, Hercules was abysmal. I mean Adkins has the look of a young Bruce for sure. But i just canāt see how Affleck will play a good Batman/Bruce Wayne. Iām trying very hard to see it, but just canāt.
Screw Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, etc. JCVD is, and will always be, THE hollywood martial arts icon to me.
However, his work as of late, continues to be disappointing. He has clearly lost it. If its not a gloried cameo role, he picks lousy flicks to be the lead in. Just saw Pound of flesh. It wasnāt terrible but, far from great. The last truly good JCVD movie i saw was Assassination Games with Scott Adkins. His performance was pretty solid.
And whats with him and the damn sunglasses lately? Does he have an eye problem? So many of his recent work has him wearing sunglasses so damn much. Even on goddamn Conan OāBrien recently. Like he is trying to hide himself. Or he is recovering from a perpetual hangover.

Yea Assassination Games was pretty intense, plus it probably has Adkins doing his best on screen MA from what ive seen. Dem jumping spinning back kicks all fucking day son. Pretty decent thriller for the B movie it was too but Van Damme was terrible in it, and they spent too much time talking instead of beating ass from what I remember. Still that Adkins hallway fight, if youtube let me embed on the site today I would link that shit.
