I posted about this a while back, Dragon Blade starring Jackie Chan along side Mel Gibson is directed by the same person who did 14 Blades (Donnie Yen), which was great by the way. It required a little understanding of what goes down in the Ming Dynasty and stuff like that though. I expect Dragon Blade would be a whole different experience with Jackie Chan as the fight choreographer, and lots of Roman soldiers fighting along side Han soldiers.
Last i remember Mel Gibson did not sign on to the project Dragon Blade, damn you guys get some old ass news…John Cusak & Adrian Brody is in it instead. Its going to be coming early next year, probably for the Lunar New Years film festival…
Love how Chan is chill and the 2 white dudes are like “this is it! Oscar impression hooooo!” Gonna be on Last Samurai levels of bullshit.
Just saw Donnie Yens Iceman on netflix, was actually really good :2thumpsup:
@maxx Sorry late reply didnt get round to watching Badge of Fury as quickly as I wanted, film was shit. Had a few good scenes but its not worth tracking down unless you got a few hrs to spare and your only options is either watching that movie or throwing your penis into a bonfire.
So Jackie Chan’s son gonna get prosecuted for weed possession.
that dude’s crazy, people have been sentenced to death in China for pot possession.
though I doubt he’ll get shot by firing squad, still, minimum is 3 years in jail, max is life sentence.
let’s see Jackie downplay China’s human rights violations as he always does now that its his son’s ass on the line heh heh.
Jacky Chan doesnt give a fuck about his son, he is a disgrace in his eyes long before this even happened.
It wasnt even that long ago JC sat down with his son with a big smile on his face and was like" nigga everything I have when I die am gonna leave to charity"
His son was like “but daddy I need the money for drugs! am a man in pain!”
Jacky proceeds to dragon kick the bitch through 3 walls and about 12 windows. True story.
Wait, wait, no…I SAW that dude. JCVD lost a TON of bulk after his coke (and probably steroids) rehab, but his son looks like he barely lifts. I don’t even think he’s a martial artist, for that matter.
MJW, Tony Jaa, and Dolph in one movie…it can’t be wrong. lol!! For awhile I didn’t know Dolph was in this movie because most of the talk and focus was on Michael and Tony.
yeah, after seeing Falcon Rising I must admit that this will probably be good. Seems like movies with a Martial arts core are starting to hit their stride again.
Can’t believe I missed the Premiere for Kungfu jungle in central London. I only found out about it last night, lol. Donnie was in central London at 6pm today.
