Well, the damnedest thing just happened. So I was trying to think if I could remember any of the actors and couldn’t think of the guy’s name, but I remembered that my dad mostly showed me Jet Li and Bruce Lee films as a kid, and I was positive it wasn’t the latter (and pretty damn sure the former too), but I go ahead and look it up and,

So I am watching Falcon Rising right now. It is nice to see Lateef Crowder having a bigger role. So far the movie isn’t bad.
If you had to grade it, what would you give it? Better than Blood & Bone?
Yeah it is way better than Blood & Bone on every level. I mean it is a typical film about revenge and corrupt cops but it isn’t bad. I mean RogerEbert.com gave it a 3/5. I would give it a 3.5/5. I actually liked MJW as a character and though the fight scenes weren’t plentiful they were well choreographed.
Blood and Bone was bullshit lol, I mean except for the scene at the start with kimbo talking about “built niggas getting bent over” the whole movie was a joke on Segal lvl. Aint no time for movies where the protagonist just sunday drives through the entire movie without breaking a sweat.
Well this was a bit different. I liked the fight scene between Crowder and MJW, but I wish Crowder would have focused more on combat Capoeira instead of the style everyone is used to seeing. Mainly because in fight scenes like in the movie, it is a given that Capoeira doesn’t transition as well and there were too many holes in the style.
But all in all it was good. I will upload it to my Dropbox later and anyone who wants a link can PM me.

I got you. Actually Bolo was in a movie not too long ago (The Whole World at Our Feet). Dude still looks tough as nails. It’s funny because he is a lot faster than the movies show. Chinese Hercules is on hulu btw.

Good find Dj, Falcon Rising was pretty damn good :tup: and nothing like that B&B crap.
Great story, good characters, great choreography (suitcase brothel fight was insanely cool) with the odd hickup (swordsman fight was kinda bogus, could tell peeps holding back way too much) and the gunplay wasnt all that bad.
Even Bison shows up as a good guy for a change and lends in some support. Hope there is a sequel.
I agree. I get sooo weak knowing that dude played Bison. Yeah I enjoyed it a lot. Was hoping for more from the Yakuza boss though. He seemed like he would be a legit beast. Also MJW is doing a lot more with his fights, I wouldn’t mind them doing a sequel to the movie.
I used to see Bolo at LA Fitness now and then. He still looked mad beast. His son is also the spitting image of him and is also super jacked.
