The Martial Arts Movie Thread 2017 Donnie hates his fans

To not be able to see this movie, it feels as though I’ve been denied a basic human right.

So here is a list of places where you can see The Raid 2. Basically I hope some of you are in either LA or NY because they are getting all the love currently.

WTF man SPL wasnt that bad :stuck_out_tongue: [details=Spoiler]and the end battle with Wu Jing vs Sammo was actually pretty intense, thought Sammo was gonna lose his fingers in that one[/details]

Oh yea and despite my general dislike of Donnie Yen this movie is on netflix atm, was kinda a sleeper hit with me the story isnt half bad and the fight scenes are pretty interesting with its reservoir dogs style retakes

Apparently, we’ll be able to see The Raid II everywhere on April 11th.

Im going to get about 10-15 people to go watch Raid 2 with me on the 11th.

Finally saw dee 2. Loved it all the way until the end…

Spoiler

… with the sea dragon. I know it was part of the plot but jeez… I just couldn’t wait until it was over

Overall I thought it was good and did its job.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

I also saw and liked protector 2/TYG 2 and special ID.

Spoiler

yo! TYG 2 was hilarious. M.Crumps character could not be killed and he’d always come back like he never got hurt and with his leather jacket on. Lol.

Raid 2 ain’t showing in Houston. FUUUUUU

Really? :frowning:
A friend of mine who works at a movie tavern said he thinks it was showing but I can’t confirm.

Aaaah, let me know if you find anything.

my body is FUCKING READY!!!

The first review for The Raid 2 is up, and I will only quote one thing from the review. "It is impossible to be disappointed."

Interesting list of who needs to be in The Expendables series. Do you all feel there is anyone they missed?
http://www.cityonfire.com/people-who-need-to-appear-in-the-expendables/

Got done watching Fists of Legend (Korean) Enjoyable film to watch, the MA was ok but the story is what’s good about it…Movie runtime is 2h30 or so minutes but didn’t feel long at all.

As far as it goes for big 80s,90s and 2000s Action stars I think the The Expendables series has them all now at least.

Expendables lack ninjas! By far one of biggest action star in the 80s in none other then Sho Kosugi, along w/ his son Kane…I think they can play a really cool father & son villain combo…Also another Ninja missing is our very own American Ninja Michael Dudikoff.

Other MIA:
Billy Banks, Louis Gossip Jr., Jeff Speakman, Christopher Lambert, Richard Gere, Kevin Costner, Micahel Biehn, Kurt Russell, Burt Reynolds

No they need Jung Ji-Hoon who played Raizo in Ninja Assassin, now that’s a ninja to talk about. Also they need to make a Ninja Assassin 2…The people want it!

And I feel like the action heroes you mention are all B-List heroes…good in there own right or had that one hit in the theater,in my opinion.

Did you seriously compare Jung Ji-Hoon a better ninja then Sho Kosugi, this is dumbest shit i have ever read…This is like saying Ekin Cheng is better then Bruce Lee. Sho Kosugi is an icon of the 80s. You look up ninja in the dictionary & it will be a picture of Sho Kosugi.

Raid 2 fight scene!

I’m just going to leave this hear…just for you.
