Would be cool to have a drag queen type martial arts film! Snipes can reprise his role from Too wong foo…
They will probably have Lucy Liu for Jet Li’s part!

So I don’t know about anyone else but I am super hype that The Raid 2 will be out next week. Anyway, here is a short clip of what to expect from the film
Coincidence I run across this topic.
I love really good fight scenes, old or new. I havent really seen anything other than CTHD, Hero etc etc.
I recently downloaded Hung Fu Hustle (dont like) however I REALLY liked ‘The Protector’ and ‘Chocolate’
I’m mostly in it for the fight scenes. Help a brotha out. Also, I would prefer really good sequences and/or modern special fx kung fu fight scenes.
Watch The Raid: Redemption. Thank me later.
So I am currently watching 47 Ronin. not sure what to make of it just yet. I will upload it tomorrow, if anyone wants it.
Hook me up!
I went to Canada 2 weeks ago & was able to hit up Chinatown. I only had like 10 minutes to look around but ended up picking these movies.

Just a warning dont ever buy those multiple movies in 1 disc. They are worse then VCD quality. I was really trying to find Once Upon a Time in Shanghai but sadly none so far. I need this movie so bad.
HAD IT FOR 2 DAYS HAVENT WATCHED IT! Cant wait.
47 Ronin was kinda…messy toward the end
test fight a friend did as matt murdock aka daredevil
Yo I really like this. Question. Do you by any chance know what camera they used to film this? Everything looks really good and I look forward to seeing the finished product.
nah dunno
this is probably the finished thing. test fights are generally just small shorts to get your skills up…most of the times to work out ideas for an upcoming project. like my stunt team recently did a knockout game test fight cause one of our ours ended up doing it on bluebloods on cbs.
I hope I’m wrong but I think the MA film industry peaked in the mid to late 90’s (in terms of fight scene quality).
We need some new blood on the HK scene perhaps that’s what it is.
This will be beyond awesome! Calling it best MA movie of the year. Watch our exclusive trailer for the action-packed sequel.

Nah it peaked in the 80s in terms of fight quality, 70s was HK golden era. Early 90s to mid is when they started to experiment w/ the wife-fu which wasn’t too bad but damn late 90s was probably the worse time in HK cinema history. A total drought of absolute shit. Bunch of pop idol, special FX, hair wind bullshit…I never want to live through that again.
Behind the scenes Features for The Raid 2.
The last MA action film I had any interest in watching was SPL which had average to below average fight scenes. Wu Jing didn’t impress me and Sammo wasn’t in his prime. I had a vague interest in Special ID but we all know how that turned out.
There were a lot of great HK films in the 90’s but I have to admit that some films were so bad I recall fast forwarding to the 2 or 3 fight scenes in the entire film which were spread more than 30 minutes apart (sometimes over an hour) and lasted less than a minute each.
We’ll probably never see a film like the Prodigal Son again, which had great actors, a really good story line, frequent fight scenes and some of the best fight scenes ever made. Every one on that film set was far better than or on par with the best on screen martial artists we see today. It should be compulsory for every MA film to have at least one fight scene every 15 minutes.
I was never impressed with Ong Bak or The Raid. Too much tricking and unnecessary running around for my taste.
ya’all some jaded mofos
Raid 2 will begin as a limited release next week, then full release on April 11 in the US?
How does one procure or see this movie, The Raid 2?

Basically if you live in NY or LA I think you will be able to see it next week. I was trying to see what theaters will have it within a 75 mile radius and I can’t find anything right now. It has me really bummed because I have been wanting to see this since I heard the announcement. Oh well…
