I have mass spread out on two of my computers, so I gotta go ahead and get all those together and go from there. I still havenāt watched that Iron Fist collection that I copped on BR. It has something like 20 films, so I will try and see if I can upload them online or something.
I remember reading about Kenshin 2, but honestly I am not hype about it. What I am hype for is that there will be a few Shaw Bros films being remade (I have to find the link to the article again). But it would be nice to see how the remake is. (Better than Tarantino attempting it with Kill Bill)ā¦
Ok so I am a third of the way through TYG2. Man this movie is freaking hilarious, lol. The cgi is overwhelmingly bad. I will keep you posted, but man so far I am slightly disappointed.
Actually I stand corrected. Marrese Crump did his thing, from the shit talk to the crispness of his fighting, this dude needs to be in more movies in the future (he most definitely would fit right in the Fast and Furious series)ā¦
ehhh, the fight with Crump is sweet, but honestly I feel he carried Jaa with that fight. I am not done with it just yet, but from what I saw, it seemed like Jaa has kind of hit a wall. it felt like more of the same. Like I said Crump is the man and showed his ass, and brought some much needed gulliness to martial arts films.
I got you, I am uploading to my dropbox now (with subs, lol).
I also fast forward to the fights, Iāve just seen an absolutely horrendous fight with some chick in a red latex suit that would look ridiculous even in Matrix Revolution Zion rave. Iām in no rush to watch the rest of this movie
TYG2 -The movie is quite frustrating to watch at first. I blame it mostly on the stupid CGI, i know they wanted to make it 3D but this went overboard. I think midway through the movie it picks up. Tony Ja played his country bumkin role again. I actually watch the whole movie without ffwd. Acting & story is ridickulous as always. In terms of fights though, i think Tony Ja still has it, he seem a bit more toned down though. Kind of like Jackie 80s going to Jackie 90s. Still quality stuff but the craziness wasnāt there.
As for the chick w/ latex suit, yeah that was out of place but im not complaining. I dont think she even fights at all after that, but she fine oh she so fineā¦crosses finger hoping its not a ladyboy
As for Mr. Crump, dude is pretty damn fast. I was hoping he did a little more though.
My biggest disappointment of the film was w/ the Chocolate girl Yanin. I was really hoping to see Ja do some tag team type Muay Thai moves. Something different which i havenāt seen. She was underused but she still stepped up when she had the screen type.
Overall though, i thought the movie was worth watch.
