So why all of a sudden did people in streams care if KOF was on there? Or were they just there to talk shit about DG cause they had nothing better to do?
Many reasons some such as:
-
Envy/jealousy thus they are trying to just bring me down any way they can.
-
Bitter about the fact that I have been right and some people do not know how to handle when they are WRONG about certain things such as “Japanese are better based off videos and online”.
-
Freeloaders that EXPECT me to give them something for nothing and EXPECT ME to go to their tournaments for no reason whatsoever.
-
US players that ride SF all day try to bring me down because I’m not promoting SF or mainstream EVO events (for the most part, but I am believe it or not!!).
Compare this result thread to the JuareZ WarZone result thread and you gotta admit…it IS pretty quiet in here isn’t it?
Looks like in the end Necro and all those other so called experts…
**DARK GEESE GOT THE LAST LAUGH! ** :badboy: :nono:
And again as I have said before, though silence is GOLDEN, where are these people even coming in to admit that they were wrong?
Again they have too big of an ego to swallow their defeat, and I simply don’t deal with people like that!!!
So I will take their SILENCE as a royal admission of their defeat.
^Truth, there is no need for retractions or apologies because the evidence speaks for itself so quite simply put, facts are facts!
Dan-
Whatever man, I’m done with you, and you just ruined whatever stock I had in you from a business aspect as well.
Can’t do business with someone the way you act. You remind me of someone in Minnesota who I have cut all dealings with…
All I am going to say about that.
Now no one cares really?
Then explain how come the 1st Hummer vid has over 1,000 views already and over 52 comments in both English AND SPANISH and people like Emil chiming in?
You lose…The End.
Have fun isolating yourself from others, you’ll see how far that gets you in life.
“The only power someone has over you is the power that you give them.”
Thus I will give you no more, game over for you… (You’ll figure out what that means soon enough)
Now with that said, the final video of the challenge is coming up in like 2 hours…then it’s on to more stuff.
It depends.
Just because many individuals don’t like Dark Geese, it doesn’t mean they all have the same reasons of not liking him be it rationalized or lack there of. Some dislike Dark Geese because of how he generally conducts himself as a person. Others dislike Dark Geese because of how he conducted certain gatherings and events that were held previously. Others dislike him because of his lack of ability to make a good, constructed argument. Others dislike the immature, false hype, type of posts that Dark Geese makes. Some may just argue with Dark Geese about the whole “Mexico vs. Japanese” players. There are a variety of reasons to not like him, be it justified or not, and that’s just how it is.
I don’t know why certain individuals would feel envious of Dark Geese’s achievements and would just degrade to the point of immature bickering and trolling. I don’t know why others would be bitter about Dark Geese being “correct” when I recall it was mainly Emil that argued about which region’s players are better; it’s a subject that many others wouldn’t really care much about nor would respond to. Those players would be more concerned over their own skills and ways of improvement rather than argue about which players are better. Nobody is expecting anything of anyone in the community; the main criticisms of Dark Geese’s events are just how Dark Geese runs them and how he is as a person, not that he is not doing events. If Dark Geese does an event, that’s okay. We would appreciate it, but the main discontent is what Dark Geese does during the event and what not. Going back to the fact that nobody is expecting anything of anyone, I doubt “US SF Players” are expecting Dark Geese to host/promote SF based events due to the abundance of events already held by other people. People merely aren’t that into/excited for Dark Geese hosted events let alone be disappointed that it isn’t an SF based event. Dark Geese’s reasons of why haters hate him is not quite logical and seemed to based around a conceited way of thought.
Sadly to say, Dark Geese, while trying to become the paradigm of the community you simply became a pariah and your efforts turned of those that had some interest into the scene. This is true as it’s concrete, and people the amount of people in the US that dislike you, for whatever reason, evidently outweigh the amount of people that do like you. It’s not Mexico vs. Japan, it’s just you as a person that haters hate you for. As for the reason why others aren’t responding to the argument of Mexico vs. Japan and the evidence of these videos, it’s just that only one or two people have seriously tried to argue that; and that you expected for a larger amount of people to actually respond goes to show that you unfairly grouped the lot of us forum users together to share the exact same sentiments. It’s like THE_ANSWER and his usage of “Leech Gang”, it’s illogical generalization.
Personally, I do not like you, Dark Geese, as a person. For now, I will respect your grounds and as an individual. I won’t bicker, argue, nor troll. If you’re able to grow as a person and as an individual, then my respect for you will too grow. Sincerely, I hope that you are doing better in Mexico and hopefully many of the players like you and appreciate your efforts. I give you my best wishes for your efforts, as there are many here that do like these match videos, and it’s interesting to see players from different regions play against each other with each own distinctive play style.
The forums would be quite better if civility was put into better practice. Posts made by THE_ANSWER and at times Syxx are out of bad fashion.
See guys now there are ways to say what Laban just said without offending anyone or out of bad taste. I can respectfully disagree with what he says without it getting into anything eventful at all.
Like for example the issue about the paradigm of the community, I would respectfully disagree and say which community?
The US community? Not one that I particularly care for so I do not understand why I have to go to certain events by people, I thought they knew my focus was in other countries??
My efforts in the USA are seriously limited to only a few regions. If people do not like the way I do things fine, I say I feel absolutely confident that they themselves can do a better job (and I say that feeling pretty confident they cannot or haven’t even tried to run an international tournament).
Now I am not perfect, there are things I have done in the past that I would certainly do different now with the knowledge I have of everything and that starts with Mexico. You get older you reflect on things and you get wiser, and I do not regret anything I have done in the past because the past is what makes you who you are today.
The Mexican community? Not the case certainly as he further elaborates on that saying “hoping I am doing better in Mexico”…
And I am. Mexico seems to be where I was meant to be in the first place! If I could do it all over again, I wouldve started with Mexico in 2005 when I started this whole thing to begin with.
The US scene wasn’t giving me the proper feedback I have wanted and still has yet to do that.
Also Emil hasn’t been the only one arguing Japans superiority over Mexico- though he has been a major component, this new school of GGPO players I say or Generation GGPO, think they can judge something off skill level online, so there is this new Neo-Emil style of thought going on now by others such as Necronomicron and others (from various sites not just SRK, I have some of many different countries that appreciate what I do because I opened their eyes to many things consider the “How to counter stereotypical North American Ignorance about KOF” series) that I can go back and name in the many discussions that we have had in the past.
I have challenged them all to prove their points, reiterating that I have evidence to suggest they are wrong and simply watching match vids on GGPO or online or playing online is a very very weak way to justify an argument that Japan is better than Mexico.
Now with all the evidence I have from the past tournaments, *** I feel much more inclined to say Mexico=better than Japan in 2002 now don’t I?***
I think excellent way right there for someone to post something the way Laban did it…nothing out of that that is attacking or offensive at all…take note everyone!
Props to Laban for saying what he said the way he said it, nothing in bad taste about that at all! Thank you for that Laban!!!
****Now I don’t mind being the pariah of the US Community, not one bit. I liken it to LeBron James being the pariah in Cleveland, so what? He’s not the Pariah in Miami is he?
Why did he leave Cleveland in the first place? He wasn’t getting the support he wanted.
So I liken the USA to the Cavaliers, and Mexico to the Miami Heat. LeBron feels happy in Miami, I feel happy in Mexico. ****
Final between Hummer and Bart- please once video finishes encoding watch in HD please!!!
Also Webster gets it I think. I remember a time Webster when you thought I should focus on the USA remember?
Now you see what that gets you in the long run, so now you see why I focus on Mexico as a whole.

What did the man say? I don’t see anything…?
No need to bring up drama please. Keep the discussion related to the topic.
Good!
It’s just a habitual pattern of events I’ve seen and from someone I would want to do business with they are not traits I want to be associated with. Instead of getting into some immature “show me the pics” battle with him (sounds kinda like “show me the money” doesn’t it? In the past I wouldve entertained this with him posted the pics etc but no need to give him any more power, I’m just gonna take it away from him trolling and acting immature), I am going to be the better man and just walk away from this discussion with him, and walk away from him in general. If you want I’ll elaborate with you on this decision in PMs, even my boss agrees on this one that this is a pattern of events/traits we do not want to be associated with. I can elaborate more in PMs.
On that note here is the next vid:

Great Aftermath Interview, nice to hear there thoughts.
Lmao at 5:47 - 6:13 Dem Females hahaa:razzy:
Excellent Shit DG
I’m happy that we’re going to get a lot of new KOF footage out of this. Any attention the game gets on that front is a good thing. I hope everyone had a good time down in Mexico.
What I’m not so happy about is the “living vicariously” mentality on display – pitting players from Mexico and Japan against each other to prove THEIR point and bragging about other players’ achievements; or pitting the players against each other on paper: which is arguably worse.
I mean, ok, people love to talk shit here like ANSWER said, but it ought to be at least based on some kind of concrete result between the shit talker and the person they’re talking shit about lol.
Let’s say I got surly and started talking shit about the other “GGPO” people, or said Mexico was mediocre at the game for X, Y and Z reasons (clearly they aren’t, but bear with me). It stands to reason that I would then want to actually play against these people and prove my point, not argue endless hypothetical matches and only trade insults with them online. If you’re going to insult someone’s game, then at least follow through on it and PLAY them.
I think everyone here gets this on some level. But it’s important to keep it clear in your mind that shit talk actually has to lead somewhere so that it can be resolved AND that when you say something negative about how other people play that you’re ready to back that up with your own skills, not someone else’s.
You know I respect you Rorick!! You are a real man you say what you feel you don’t talk behind people’s backs on stuff man I respect that, and I tell you this much man, if 13 is in Final Round next year and I do not have a international tournament around that time (see JuareZ WarZone last year, The KOF Cup 2011 this year), rest assured I will be there, and probably with Kula, Luis Cha or someone else!!!
Yes you know how I feel and I know how you feel, so you can rest assured it’s not like I’m never going to Final Round again, because I will rest assured on that, Final Round is a great tournament, the people make the tournament great!!!
As they should of, those types of remarks have no place in this forum whatsoever, and are types of things someone ignorant, bitter and/or all of the above would say.
Thanks man, more is to come, but uploading “something else” per request right now to youtube for PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES, so The KOF Cup 2011 footage will continue in a few hours…
Besides this special request right here which was Hummer’s arrival into the El Paso International Airport:

Alright this is my final warning. Stay on topic or I’ll start handing infractions. If you have beef with someone do it through PM. We don’t need to derail threads.
Hi Noc, you coming this Saturday?
I would love to but I work weekends. Let’s all relax now.
