god damn i thought 98um had some cool changes they are just going all out!!!

kof2k2um is more than just a 2k2 upgrade…its like an entirely new kof in the old style!!!

Which is why it’s the fighter I’m most hyped about this year

I hope this isn’t the last one. Still holding out for an entirely new Dream Match UM with a shitload of characters to send off the old sprites

but if not this is more than a good way already

As long as damage scaling keeps intact and BC’s dont last too long I don’t see what the big problems is gonna be…

Well, the number of charge chars in KOF is pretty small, and only Choi and Leona are high or top tier among them, and neither one was due to their customs. I don’t think that’s a big worry.

The big thing I want is for SNK to get the balance right. It doesn’t matter how good the game is, if balance sucks I get tired of it quickly.

It just seemed no one was getting it unless I stated it. It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.

I love SNK fighters, been playing them for years and started with SS1 at the arcades way back when.

Charge time is removed, damage is scaled for combos that continue from a BC cancel (in addition to normal MAX scaling), and all supers can be free-canceled into. MAX activation (from standing) now has the same startup time for everyone.

Should still work.

98’s move is “Daichi wo Harau Gouka”. This one is new.

I’m just liking the changes they did with Kyo

I don’t see why it would be an issue, CCs were perfectly fine in OG 2k2. Its balance issues weren’t really tied to that system (the least stupid of all the CC systems ever IMO).
