GGs to all who I fought here tonight. My connection wasn’t always at it’s best tonight, so I’m glad to have been able to get some good games in at all today!
How didn’t I know Heidern’s neck rolling was unblockable… lol. That’s pretty crazy -_-; There’s so much variety in this game… After watching vids for so long over and over, I’m happy to finally get a chance to participate, y’know?
I said the only people that “should” complain about the online, are people who “don’t” have others to play in their areas. And the ones that “do (and this aslo means have a decent amount of fighting games players in their area)” have people to play, should focus more on playing offline to strengthen their offline community and make a name for themselves.
And then later I said, I really shouldn’t give a shit what they do. And not even care.
I dunno about DG, but after a few more select tournaments, I’m done with KOF/SNK events period. This community left a rather disrespectful and disgusting taste in my mouth and I’d rather have nothing to do with it TBH. Such a pity too…since I endured a lot of bullshit, trying to see the success in this community.
Well, guess Im done with KOF 2K2UM XBL. Net code is good, but if you’re not hosting, you’ll get a slight delay (input delay?) For me, it flat out ruins the game. Oh well. Enjoy my money SNK.
Ladies and gentelmen please watch as I make someone look incredibly dumb:
Lord_Raptor you know me so well don’t you? Okay then lemme ask you these:
Where have I lied about anything?
Where have I stole…No WHO, have I stolen from?
I mean those are such horrible things to say about and accuse someone with. So I’m sure you have very concrete info, from your own personal experience…that can support your claims towards me…right?
I don’t like people talking out of their ass trying to disrespect me. It’s rude, especially when I wasn’t talking to them in the first place. And mind u I was on topic…talking about netcode.
Ok since KOF2002UM is up and running on Xbox live I got some questions for you guys. I want to go hardcore at this game meaning i want to learn everything about the fighting engine and master the fundamentals of my characters. Any web sites or vids on youtube explaining how the battle system working and character guides for playing Chin, Yamazaki, Yoshiro, and other characters.
On SNKP’s Facebook page, they explained (in Engrish) that Color Edit and Gallery Mode were mistakenly advertised and are not actually in the game.
Which I don’t see why not, even though it’s not that important it wouldn’t have taken that much effort at all to put in.
A lot of characters like Yamazaki and Yashiro didn’t really change that much from regular 2k2. There are few resources on 2k2UM right now, but plenty on original 2002 on the SRK wiki, as well as other KOF sites like Cyberfanatix and Dream Cancel.
Valid point. There is the issue of all black characters on a dark background. Was hoping to transfer my NGBC Shermie color to 2K2UM’s Orochi Shermie but oh well.
Something I did notice in one of my online bouts. Goro’s Super Tumble (:qcb::snkd: specifically) was not strike invulnerable. I think I was also thrown out of it once, too.
The differences are mostly balance related and the backgrounds in Tougeki are polygon instead of pixels. The XBLA version is the Tougeki version and the PS2 Tougeki version is available for about $40. I’d get the Tougeki version since it’s the most recent version.
