Not funny man. I’m damned serious when I say I know Blazblue very damned well. They’re just talking out of their asses about their opinion of what they think. They haven’t shown any proof of shit to prove my apparent “lack of knowledge”. First off, he punished him ONCE. How many opportunities did he have? A LOT. Ice Car doesn’t come out THAT quick. Even if people can’t see it coming, he did the more punishable version. And what didn’t Buppa do for the other times it came out? So before you guys say shit, shut the fuck up and don’t say “Oh, he punished it once. I mean, the guy threw the same exact version out every time, but he punished it ONCE after falling for it plenty of times.”
what makes Jhun a good character in 2k2um?
He has his infinite combo for 1, his moves are fast, he can beat out projectiles in his other stance, his pokes are quite long in reach and can mix up a bit (his slide kick and overhead which are both fast and have good reach), he has just good options all around and most have great recovery. All around, he’s also fast, hard to punish, plus he has a guard break move, he can keep his distance with great pokes and it’s hard to get past him. One example would be Mr. KOF.

Also, if you notice later in the video, he has really annoying air pokes that allow him to bounce off and repeat them while crossing up. Also, as someone gets up, he can keep them on guard by doing his sweep move while they wake up (It comes out fast meaning it’d be hard for your opponent to spot it, and it has pretty good reach like most of his moves). Also, his infinite isn’t extremely bad, it goes off screen meaning that it’s pretty hard to perform and not as much of an infinite since you’d probably have to end it somewhere. I’m sure there’s probably some way to keep it as an infinite, but it’d seem pretty risky. Anyhow, a lot of his moves stuff out everything else too.
back to the topic at hand… i’m gonna be playing hardbody, but if ngbc is an indicator of the number of players we’ll have (and the general skill level), i’m probably going to be disappointed.

Buppa did about 5 or 6 ice cars. ALL except one were comboed into. When you’re in a combo…you can’t get out until it’s over(or you burst but it didn’t make sense to burst there). The other one didn’t combo due to a combo mistake and he was punished for it. There was only one icecar done that was actually punishable, and it was punished. Hope that helps your (limited) understanding of fighting games.
Jhun or Foxy. Not Hinako for sure, since her pressure game is much harder to get out of if the opponent has no stock to cd counter or guard roll. What’s odd about Foxy being an anchor? She has a useful anti-air DM, and good max combos (that take about 2 bars).
JHUN is not for everyone. he does have a prone weakness for grabs… if you can control him properly through distance and pressure…you should be able to skunk an opponent if you’re pro enough.

You mean the fact that Emil stated something completely stupid? You can’t combo off of something that’s blocked. He didn’t get hit by all of them. Also, if it is block, it has slight recovery time since he used the version of it where Jin hits you with his Sword.
P.S. Emil, you don’t “combo” into that. You choose right when you throw out the move whether you decide to use that version or not.

See I simply could only tolerate that for so long, and some of you think it’s abnormal for me to travel, I get tired of **not **getting the competition I seek so I just say the hell with it and travel I’m sorry but winning all the time gets MADDDDDDDDDDD boring, so travelling to Mexico is exciting simply from the fact that I’ll learn like 50x more there than I will here.
So I completely understand his frustration, that’s been me the past 4 years, thus travel enables me to just get rid of that frustration I have when I am here. In enjoy thoroughly the competition worthy opponents like Zeus (Ismael), Kane9999, Rodo, Mr. KOF, Reynald etc. and others bring when I play, I get that adrenaline rush I just don’t feel 97% of the time, I get the feeling like I actually have to play you know, and I forget what that’s like when I am here so it’s good to feel that!

No because that is a business decision, plus sacrificing money to go to EVO (Which will have less competition in SNK Games hands down than MvP, hell EVO has less competition in SNK games than even Nouveau Defi Prologue 2009 Mr. KOF, RJ, Reynald can attest to this!) or using that money to secure people at Mexico vs. Panama which on the SNK level of play is gonna blow EVO out of the water, what would you do?
I’d also go to EVO IF it was economically feasible…but since it is not, and another tournament one month away from it named Mexico vs. Panama is gonna be without question worth it, that’s where me and my money are going.
See those numbers that appear at the side? That increment by 1? It’s a combo counter.

I was referring to the ones he blocked Emil, not the ones he got hit by. He could have punished quite a few he blocked. : P Also, to combo into means you got a first hit on the enemy and COMBOD INTO. Not getting a hit off of a move that uses safety benefits in between. I know what those numbers are, though to call it a combo counter is a bit tricky to say. I mean, you could possibly mean that the person was hit on counter then combo’d. I know what it is though, when it’s red, the combo counts. When it’s slightly transparent, the combo ended (or failed) and you could have done an air recover
(Though, sometimes if the numbers go transparent, you can follow up to make it harder to recover. This was pretty heavy in Guilty Gear such as the combo Millia Rage has which only gives you around 1 to 2 frames in order to air recover. But Woshige has some crazy shit goin on as a Millia player cause she uses her hair car, false romans and goes into an overhead which is ridiculously hard to block. She’s awesome, no? : ) One of my favorite though is Lime-Key. He has a really sweet Anji. I have no idea if you have any of his matches in your favorite, but if you don’t, I highly recommend you check him out. The guy is sick.)
