The problem is that the player you described is not quite as bad as the player I mentioned. But yes, for the most part you got it right, the problem is you are misusing the word “understand”
Bad argument. The problem here is that Shiro had a very good reason to do that, it was mindgames. The players i’m talking about just due it because they think it’s a good tactic, not because it was an appropriate thing to do based on everything else that happened in the match.
Eh yeah, you still missed the point. Once the top player has identified just how much (or little) that scrub knows, he will employ the tools. The problem is discovering just how much or how little they know. And also, this doesn’t address the issue of some scrubs not even understanding why they are choosing to do what they are doing.

Oh yeah in case you all didn’t see, Osmani was at the tournament also, he lost to Luis Cha and Kensou. All of this is on film, now before you all ask Kula never got to play Danke at all, lack of time etc, but he played a lot of other people like Bart and Ruletas in the tournament.

These guys sucked even if this video is old, but you say otherwise. I can name every opportunity of what would have punished what and how to punish it. Believe it or not Emil, Blazblue is a VERY simple fighting game. It’s only combo orientated really and has a good amount of mixups for each character. It’s not like Guilty Gear where anything can happen, the game is strict, clear, and just really damned simple in many ways. I haven’t seen YOU play KOF2002, but that gives ME no right to tell you whether you suck at it or not. So don’t tell me what I do and don’t know you fucking moron. Dude, everything is punishable if you know it’s actually going to happen. There are only some things in general (such as punishable moves on block, and some moves that have startup) that you can talk about missed punish opportunities.
Edit: I just rewatched this video (I didn’t favourite it btw, these are my own uploads). The level was actually very high, especially for the time of the video. Everything that was reasonable to punish, was punished very well. Again, your comment shows your very basic understanding of fighting games. And lol, you seem oblivious as to who Buppa is, the fact that you’d even question Buppa being good shows you don’t know a single thing about the scenes of BlazBlue or GG, or the gameplay of either.
Tell me atleast three different places in which they failed to punish and I’ll see just how low your understanding is.
