sorry i actualy asking for a “punish” not a prediction specialy not with ultra just a normal punish its a highly risky move normaly but i can not see a method for Hakan to punish it…
I also tried it and got punished.
Well, at least I’m not alone.
I started going back to the lk oil situation after slide. Works well on Rog since you can’t really cross him up (at least, I couldn’t get it to work).
Aside from that this is definitely in Hakan’s favor. Not by a whole lot, but definitely favorable.
Add me Liquigen. My PSN is Gravehunter24. I’ll show you what I mean…
BB+Splash–Dash–>BB+Splash works like hell against charakters like Chun-li well timed its even SAVE against some reversals and the enemy got annoyid if you splash him 3 times and then its time for ultrag
First of all, I don’t have PSN.
Second of all, what the fuck are you talking about since I’m agreeing with you?
Looks like he wants to show you how BAD it can be for Balrog, by making you pick Balrog, who I assume you don’t play, and then beating your unprofessional Balrog with his assumed decent Hakan!
Chill out dude. I just want to show you the match up and how easy it is. No need for profanity.

I like profanity.
And you expect me to “chill out” (i’m not really that pissed but ok) when you come in acting extremely arrogant? Yeah bro, that’s not how it works. The matchup is not easy. No matchup is easy for us. It’s in our favor, but not EASY.
Someone posted this on one of my Hakan videos: “It’s a good thing this wasn’t a high-level match because Chun Li would have destroyed you. I want Hakan to be a good character but he’s just not, he’s the only character in the game who has 9-1 and 10-0 matchups against? him.” I have a hard time believing that.
sorry, reaper what’s BB? bread n butter?
is it possible to do a meaty super so people can’t jump or crouch to escape it?
also
is it possible to option select the 360 k on wake-up if the opponent back dashes?
Hey I just watched that video. I think you ate so many sweeps because you were expecting Hazanshu. The video stopped playing near the 5:30 mark so I didn’t get to see exactly how you lost that last round.
You didn’t play too badly. You were responsive to jumps, just not so adaptive. That Chun player could be categorized as a jumper, but you didn’t retain that knowledge after seemingly catching on in the 1st or 2nd round (and you actually had him cornered without doing anything damaging at the very start).
One thing I noticed was you didn’t oil up so much in that first round, but then started oiling up later. Only problem was you didn’t really use the oil as I feel you should have. DNC is a pretty crucial component to my game vs fireball characters; but even when you were oiled, you just attempted slides under fireballs, which can turn out not too safe in one way or another.
I think your footsie game needs improvement. Start with basics, understand all Hakan’s normals and how you can apply them (tick throws etc when oiled), then work on DNC.
Hey, thanks for the input! I’m always up for some criticism, and I’ll try to remember your advice. I’m glad you didn’t catch the end because it was embarrassing lol… I had a free win but tried to get fancy and lost it.
I have no doubt high level Chuns would own me (because they have in the past lol), but I was mostly doubting the guy who posted the comment claiming Hakan has such extremely one-sided match-ups. I don’t think Hakan is that great, I’d say one of the better low tier characters, but I haven’t run into any match-ups that felt completely one-sided. It did bring me to wonder how other Hakan players feel about this.
Maybe?? (I’ve tried but can’t get it to work)
and
Yes (good luck!)
Wait… Hakan v Balrog is in Hakan’s favour?
Yes, albeit slightly.
I think Balrog vs. Hakan is in momentum’s favor.
I really doubt Balrog v. Hakan is in Hakan’s favour. If Balrog gets in even once, just like any character, you’re going to be seeing stars/chicks/skulls very quickly.
