I really hope this is far from permanent. He really got me interested in the FGC back in the day. His vids are still my favourite media out of this community all this time later. Thank you, Gootecks. Please come back soon.

I still enjoy listening to the old Denjin Podcasts. They were great and helped bring a lot of insight into the mind of some top 3s players.
if this really did spring from some kind of drama and he still has a passion for FGs and related content he could probably just make a new show and we’d all watch it. I certainly would.
I remember meeting him briefly at Seasons Beatings. I told him he looked browner in real life than he did on the internet. We laughed.
I would like to wish Mr Tecks the best in his future endeavors.

Excellent adventures was the first thing that even INTRODUCED me to the fgc. I was just browsing sf related vids on youtube when I was trying to learn sf4 and I stumbled upon an excellent adventures vid, and was immediately hooked, been hooked ever since. Gootecks, you and Mike are incredibly entertaining guys to watch, and you’ve both done so much for the community. Putting in so much work, so much time, putting together hype events, provided tutorials from top players, provided us with tons of content to watch with EA, CC, and CClive, and so much more. I almost feel like I know you personally from watching all of your stuff. It was so depressing last night hearing that announcement from you, I have no idea what caused this, but I hope and pray that you change your mind and come back to fgc. WE NEED YOU GOOTECKSSSSSS!!!
Yeah Gootecks brought the FGC to the mainstream through his shows, has helped new players get into the game by getting top players to share their secrets with the characters they main and imo outside of evo last years Bar Fights was the hypest FG event whether it was staged or not.

gootecks knows what he’s doing. You die or go away and you become 1000x times more popular. Just look around Srk and you’ll see how much more popular he is now. No one gave a fuck about him a couple of days ago. But now he’s everyones “hero” and “inspiration”. As a player you’re mediocre at best. As a businessman though, you sir are GATLIKE!!
You did a lot not only for your community but for comunnities around the world you helped to inspire people to search their own fgc and make it grow
