Man Soviet not everyone who bitches about Cops has a record. A number of people on SRK have been treated pretty damn shitty by cops over simple little issues or misunderstandings or what have you. Cops can be real dicks sometimes.

I’ve just been wrongly jerked around by cops a few times in my life, and it’s an eye opening experience. I think we have an inherent trust for civil authority, unless something happens to shake it up.
Exactly. I do the same thing with my mom. The other day she was stressed out about her medical bills and was getting all worked up, so I punched her in the face.

People in this thread have said that racism by blacks makes them hate the police. That strikes me as insane.
I wonder how the Utah laws were and the raiding protocol were enforced. If the cop was in normal daily uniform (no helmet, body armor) and alone or with 1 partner only then the shot COULD be justify, because a swing to the head from a gold club like that is highly lethal, but when you have a fully equipped raid team like that against 1 guy? Damn…
