cops do lots of terrible things, especially in the seattle area where i live.
however in this case, assuming the police didnt lie (which can be a big assumption, but the investigation should clear things up), then they shoulda shot the dude.
The cops don’t always have to do that. It seems that some judge gave them a no knock warrant.
No knock warrants kicked up as a result of the 80’s/90’s where drug users were taking shots at cops, many gangs still do.

You’re operating under the assumption that police follow all rules and regulations they’re supposed to. That’s cute, but far from reality.
How about those times where they shoot an unarmed man because they decided it’s the proper amount of force? Or where they taser a man to death when he’s completely surrounded by officers who could have easily subdued him? How about the G20, where the baton is the first response?
That’s the part that didn’t make sense. Let the drug dealers do their thing to cut down on arrests. Let murder slide to make cops less violent.

She’s not the only one btw, there were couple more that was actually killed, gun downed in front of her house. There’s another out there still working I believe, a 20 yr old that’s not too bad. But recently another police chief was being chased by the drug cartel and he was eventually kidnapped too.

Bottom line, if you didn’t do anything wrong, don’t run from the cops and for god’s sake don’t attack them.

There is an important part of this story that nobody is really paying attention to.
Dude was naked. I’m not a cop, but I can tell you that I am 475% more likely to shoot a guy who attacks me if he’s naked. There’s some weird implied threat of sexual violence there, that I don’t approve of.
If you put your hands one me, we have a problem. If you’re naked and you put your hands on me, you’re fucking done.
So really, the lesson we should take from this, is that you shouldn’t try to fight people when you’re naked.
